and you felt like a world away from the busy side of Acadia, We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and hubby's retirement. We drove 3000 miles in all seeing lots of America. When we stopped here it was refreshing. Everyone was nice and our cabin was clean and comfortable. I could have stayed all week just enjoying the peace...

I have stayed here before many years ago and it was nice to come back to these cabins nestled in the woods with all the amenities of home. The owners are wonderful and very accomodating.I can't wait to go back. It's only a short drive from here to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.

My fiancé and I went to Acadia National Park for his 30th birthday. We wanted to stay somewhere that we would feel as if we were in the woods, but not camping. Staying at Acadia Cottages was the perfect place for us. It was close to the Park, but far enough away from the hustle of Bar Harbor. The cottage...

If you are looking for a nice quiet getaway, look no further! Acadia Cottages is in Southwest Harbor, which we really enjoyed! It is less crowded than Bar Harbor, but still with the charm of a New England town. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend staying here!

I stayed here on the recommendation of a fried to visit the island and to rent a cabin so this ticked the boxes. Our greeting was warm and the owners were kind and helpful. They have thought of everything to lending books, videos, backpacks and beach towels. Although we only stayed 2 nights, if you were there longer you could...

We stayed at Acadia cottages again this year, and we were as pleased as we were a year ago. We stayed a week in a studio cottage. These are the small cottages for just 2 people. While small, everything is well layed out and maximizes the space. The property is quiet and yet close to town. Perfect in every way....

We stayed 4 nights in a delightful, well-equipped cottage, one of the 15 or so on the property. The cottages were quiet and felt very private despite being just steps from the main commercial area of SW Harbor. Two of us shared the bedroom with a comfortable King-size bed, while the other 2 shared the queen pullout sofa in the...

We stayed in one of the Acadia Cottages for a week and had a great time! A cozy cottage with a comfy bed, nice kitchenette and bath. Easy walking distance to the center of town and town dock. This is a great location to enjoy Acadia.
