My fiancé and I recently stayed in cottage 8 and it was simply lovely! I can't say enough great things about this place. It is located on what's known as the quiet side and that is 100% true. It was a very tranquil place to stay. The cottage was super cute and clean. They have a wonderful lending library with... More

We loved our time here! The cottage was a perfect blend of natural serenity and modern comforts. We loved that we were in the middle of nature but still had all the amenities we could want. Our family created many wonderful memories, like sitting out on the porch listening to the birds, skipping rocks on the pond, and lingering around... More

Stayed in cabin #1. Wonderful cozy cabin with amenities like a full kitchen with utensils and appliances. Left our lovely review in a book they provided on the table from all previous tenants. They had a balloon and cookies waiting on the table for us as well along with a wonderful little welcome note. (how sweet!) The sharing library is... More

This was our first visit to the Acadia area and choosing to stay on the quieter side, this fit our expectations perfectly for the 2 nights we were here. When it was evident we would be arriving after dark we called ahead, and Tom cheerfully welcomed us and graciously spent time answering our questions about where to go, what to... More

We've been visiting Acadia for years and needed a new venue for a week-long stay. The cottages are compact and fit our needs exactly. The eco-conscious theme is so appropriate for one of our national treasures as well.

We stayed in a studio cottage, which was cozy, but still had enough space for the two of us without feeling cramped. The cottage was very clean and the kitchenette was well stocked--it even had a lobster/nut cracker, which we were happy to discover when we brought back a live lobster to cook without really considering how we'd eat it!... Had a terrific week, solo for some of it. Stored bikes safely, did laundry on site, cooked all but one meal in my cabin, enjoyed the little deck... it was great. The proprietors also very friendly and accommodating yet do not waste your time, just make sure you have everything you want. One day the wi-fi was intermittent but (I... More

We've stayed at Acadia Cottages several times with the previous owners and now with the new owners. The cottage has everything we need in a small space. Very clean and well kept property. The new owners were very nice and included items we needed like a high chair in our cabin. There are many extra touches at this property like... More

If you want to get away and explore Acadia National Park, Acadia Cottages are for you! These charming cottages are a short walk from "downtown" Southwest Harbor, which includes cute shops with jewelry and art among other things crafted in Maine as well as a deli and restaurants. The harbor is walking distance and a variety of boating trips are... More
