We were desperate to find accommodations near Bar Harbor and everything was booked up, since we waited so late. The room was clean and it was your typical motel. It was small and no clean set but it was convenient. It was reasonably priced considering...More
This place has some charm (not the street view kind -- that's kind of drab), in providing outside areas for guests. There's a basketball court, a fire pit, and a nice outside seating area. The seating around the fire pit is exceptional and there was...More
Stayed for 2 nights Aug 1st, loved it. Nice people, air strip behind was fun too watch the planes. Small room didn't really need more room. Clean and close to the park. Would stay again. Pool was clean and quite.
The motel is relatively near Acadia National Park and the back property bumps up to the airport. Surprisingly, we never heard the planes while in the room. Our room faced the road and we could hear the traffic, especially in the early morning. The room...More
This hotel was a good location to Acadia and the Schoodic Peninsula, but ugh...my pet peeve...cockroaches...found several each night in our kitchenette climbing on the wall above my bed...our room was in the back viewing the mountains, but also right along side a small airport.

I didn't realize TripAdvisor had this Q&A section until I came across it today, So I apologize for the delay in responding. Yes, we do have pets on the property and guests can have them in their rooms if they book a pet friendly room but we do not allow them in all the rooms. We have a number of rooms that are pet friendly and we keep them just as nice as the other rooms because we don't believe pets deserve anything less. But we are aware that some customers have allergies to animals and it is important to be able to offer a room that has never had an animal in it. More than half of our rooms have never had an animal stay in it so I can almost always offer you a room the is pet free. Two-thirds of our rooms are on the first floor so as long as you book with some notice we should be able to offer you a ground floor room in any style except our Queen Kitchens which are all on the second floor. Thank you for the opportunity to answer your questions. Have a blessed day, Katherine (Owner)
