We were in town for a wedding and didn't want to take a boozy trip back to Portland afterwards. Snow Squall is how I assumed my first B&B experience would be! Cozy & comfortable, adorably decorated, and so hospitable. Paul did a wonderful job as Host and the breakfast the next morning was the perfect "pick me up" after a...

We visited the Snow Squall Bed and Breakfast during our recent trip to Maine, the house was beautiful and our room was very lovely. Breakfast was very tasty and the owners were wonderful to talk with. We were very impressed with all the landscaping around the property and I took full advantage of the onsite yoga studio. If you are...

My husband and I committed to a re-union in Maine but wanted a quiet off site location to unwind after full days of conversation and celebration. We found it at Snow Squall B&B located a short walk from the center of beautiful Wiscasset. With plenty of open space around the B&B, lovely grounds (with a gazebo), and welcoming "common" rooms...

It was due to the location that we choose Wiscasset (half distance from Boston to Bar Harbor, our destination). But our actual experience was great ,and not just because of high standard accommodation but also because of Melenie's and Paul's warm friendly welcoming and hospitality. "The must" tips: Paul's ommletes; his travel tips and tasty fresh cookies. Very , very...

Convenient location right off Rt.1 but sheltered from noise of traffic by beautiful gardens. Only saw other guests at breakfast, never heard them. Clean, comfortable and full of New England charm. Excellent suggestions for local activities from friendly staff. Even a well groomed cat came to visit.

The owners went out of their way to make every bit of our stay enjoyable, from carrying our luggage up the stairs, to advising us where we can spend our afternoon, to making a fabulously delicious breakfast. The house and the grounds are beautiful and you can tell they are lovingly cared for. This was one of the highlights of...

Had a wonderful overnight at the Snow Squall Inn. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous with blooming flowers all around. Relaxed and read in the gazebo in the afternoon. Had a delicious breakfast made by Owner/Chef Paul Harris. Scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, bacon, and then fresh fruit, yogurt, and cream cheese biscuits. The rooms were very inviting and very clean. Overall...

I cannot recommend this place enough if you are in the neighborhood. We were on our way to Acadia National Park and this was the perfect stop coming from Boston. The place is truly magical and this is mainly due to its owners who are going the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. Great tips on the local sightseeing...

I'm not sure what we miss most, Paul's "made from scratch" scones each morning, paired with omelets stuffed with seasonal goodies and homemade biscuits , or crisp bacon, potatoes and scrambled eggs topped with mushrooms & tarragon from the garden or lighter than air pancakes with fresh blueberries & raspberries or Melanie’s “calm” that set the tone for the day...

If you are looking for gracious hospitality, beautiful gardens, lovely home, and fabulous breakfast, this is the place for you. We spent four nights at this lovely B&B. Paul and Melanie could not have been better hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights of our visit was rocking on their beautiful porch, and chatting...
