Very impressed with the overall cleanliness of the inn. I felt very comfortable staying there during COVID times. The rooms are a bit dated and could use some upgrades. Todd is the manager and he and his wife are amazing!! Thanks for a great stay!
We were able to add an extra day to our Maine adventure, but our hotel in OOB could not take us early - so we opted to stay one night in York - What a great place. Todd at the Lynwood was very personable and helpful with our stay. There was a mix up with the rooms - but they worked everything out and we had a very fine stay - the Inn is very clean and except for other occupants who had noisy kids - our stay was quite lovely. The inn is within walking distance to the Nubble light house and ICE CREAM! Oh and on Todd's suggestion - you have to visit Gaskins for the best BBQ! We had lots of fun in our short stay. Would recommend this Inn.
It's the basics, but well done. Some foot traffic in front, but otherwise quiet. Older inn, so your experience may depend on your neighbors. Efficiency suite had the basics. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and stocked with the basics. Light switches were somewhat confusing. Some electrical outlets were a bit loose from wear.
We stayed one night. We had a very cute little 2 bedroom apartment. Bring some coffee and creamer with you because the room features a kitchenette and it's really great to sit on the balcony and drink a cup of coffee in the morning. The room is very cute and clean. Fluffy towels and a cozy couch.
We stayed one night of Memorial Day weekend because it was in walking distance of the wedding we were attending, but I’d definitely come back for a beach visit. The room was really big and had a stove, fridge, and table. The fire pit outside looked inviting. We walked over to the beach in 5 minutes and stopped to play on the playground on the walk back from dinner across from the beach. Coffee and fresh muffins were a nice touch in the morning. It’s not fancy. The curtains didn’t really darken the room and the pullout couch wasn’t comfortable, but overall I thought it was a great value in a fantastic location.
