This B&B is in a great location, close to restaurants and shops and located right on the water. The owners were friendly and the food was great. Delicious baked goods are available all day to you. Our room had access to the decks that look right out to the water. This was great for relaxing and enjoying a drink. The...

This B&B is what I always hope to find: relaxed, lovely, well-sited (overlooking the canal), with warm staff and great breakfasts (as well as all-day baked good, hot and cold drinks). The porches on each level and rooms sited so you can watch the canal from your bed, if you like, Ship Watch Inn was a perfect base for a...

We went overnight in April - and found it to be a good fit for our needs. We needed a first floor room with a king size bed. Not always an easy find for a B&B to be certain. We found the inn staff to be very accommodating of our needs. I saw some criticism of the staff in another...

Beautiful place, great view and the Best Innkeeper! Renee and Sharon are so nice, fun, and welcoming. We've been coming here for years. Chesapeake City is such a cute town with just the right amount of activity.

We visit the Chesapeake often to sail. The Ship Watch Inn is our favorite place. We love the atmosphere, the food and the location. Rocking on the back porch next to the canal after supper is a most relaxing experience... and the home-made desserts are delicious and always there for a late night snack.

My husband and I wanted a quiet getaway to celebrate my birthday. We were BEYOND pleased and thrilled with our stay. The room was beautiful and the view was amazing! We enjoyed some time in the hot tub watching the ships go down the canal, looking at the stars, wandering around town, and quiet naps. We ate at 2 local...

Chesapeake City is a nice getaway for us and always stay at The Ship Watch. Staff is very accommodating and goes out of their way to assure our stay is the best. We love the view of the Canal especially sitting on the deck in the warmer weather but hanging out in the room is very comfortable also.

This is our second visit to the Ship Watch Inn. Again we couldn't be happier with our choice. The host was gracious and prepared wonderful baked treats to tempt us and served us an excellent breakfast of eggs Benedict with crabmeat. We like the Queen Ann room with access to a shared terrace although this time (January) we only would...
