Stayed here just because of location. The website looked great but they all do. Was very surprised by how clean and nice everything was. They pool area was much larger than I thought and we ate dinner here 3 nights. We stayed for two nights to explore dc on the way to Maine. We

We are headed home right now and I couldn’t wait to review this ‘campground’. It is a resort, not really a campground and I mean that in a good way. It is HUGE and has everything you need from pools, a hot tub, laundry facilities, tent sites, cabins, RV sites with full hook ups,

We're really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay - it sounds like you were a pro with the Metro by the time you were done touring DC! We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear we merit a second visit. Til then, happy trails!

Traveling full-time in a 38-foot coach we stayed 23-nights in a site for big rigs (site # 506). Pd $69 night. The good….if you desire to stay close to DC this would be an excellent choice. This is a very well-kept and quiet park with great amenities. There's a cafe on site plus

Loved this park. Literally has everything a camper would want and a very friendly staff. Great Restaurant, very clean laundry facilities, nice long dog walk, spotless restroom and showers, level camping spots. Couldn't ask for more.

Thanks for asking - a few of our tent sites have wooden platforms that are 12'x12', so you'd want to stay away from those and stay in one of the sites in our main tenting loop. Just let our office staff know when you check in and we'll make sure you get a larger site that can accommodate that size tent. We have some sites that are pretty large, and availability is good this time of year. See you soon!

We're happy to hear you'll be staying with us soon! We change out towels by request, so you can just let the office know at any point and we'll bring you a fresh set. Each cabin has its own charcoal grill and picnic table outside.

Hi, We're so glad to hear you're planning to stay with us! When it comes to tours, you have many options - the good news is that all of them will be bookable at our front desk once you arrive at the campground. The only tour we offer that regularly sells out is our Cherry Hill Park DC Night Tour - we don't offer advance booking for that tour, so we'd suggest you sign up as soon as you arrive if you're interested. We also offer tours through Gray Line, which include downtown DC, Arlington/Mount Vernon, and Gettysburg. Another great option is Big Bus, a hop-on/hop-off bus that runs around downtown DC. Most of our tours cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $50-70 per person, with lower rates for children. Finally, we have a public bus that runs from our campground to a DC Metro station. The Metro is an affordable and easy-to-use option, and many of our campers prefer to self-guide. We also recommend using the Metro if you'd like to see some of the Smithsonian museums, the zoo, Arlington Cemetery, and more. Any of our staff members at the front desk will be glad to help you find the right tour when you arrive, and you'll also be welcome to attend one of our free sightseeing sessions that will outline all of your options and give you helpful directions/tips for getting around DC. I hope that's helpful, and we look forward to seeing you soon! Best, Evelyn Cherry Hill Park

We do not have a specific check-in time. Check out is 11 am, so your site should be available by that time.
