This Inn was a perfect end to our 3 day GAP ride. Our room was spacious, fully equipped, and impeccably clean. We had access but didn't use (only there one night) to a small, well equipped kitchen and laundry room and a second floor outdoor porch. Breakfast wash fresh, delicious with an incredible assortment of choices. Gail, the Inn keeper was also just great. Extremely helpful and informative with a great sense of humor. Hope to stay here again some day.
Hostel is in great shape and immaculately clean. Rate for stay was great for excellent facilities. Gail in understanding of Civic issues did not book anyone else. She is a great inn owner and is enjoyable in working with. Breakfast was over whelming and quality was excellent. This is my second visit to her establishment.
I am so pleased. Safe, secure, old school b&b. Wonderful common rooms, lots of amenities, fast wifi, lots of hot water in the showers (that's a thing for me), the rooms are all well decorated with a nod to local history and bike trails. I rode out on the GAP for two days, then rode the C&O for two days. All the spaces have been upgraded and renewed. Secure bike parking (another need of mine). Full kitchen. Highly recommended. This is what you want in a b&B This is my third time here and I am always quite pleased.
This is a fairly decent hostel set up when biking Pittsburgh to DC. It is not too far from the trail - maybe a mile, with some uphill. Bikes can be brought into the property so they are safe. The place has free WiFi, coffee/tea and some snacks. It is extremely clean, and the rooms are quiet and very comfortable. There were laundry machines available and several bathrooms. It is not a long walk to find multiple restaurants, stores etc.
An excellent guest house. Impeccably clean. Very comfortable. Great owner and staff. A great value. The owner is really into providing an elaborate breakfast. Bike parking inside the building. Really what more could you want?
