Camped here with my girlfriend for a weekend in October and had such a great time! We booked last minute and stayed in Crowsnest, which was described as one of the more primitive treehouses. It was really nice! Great for just 2 or a small group. A little wind-exposed but some of the other sites are definitely more sheltered for...

We stayed in the hobbit house for two days. I was so excited for this trip as the pictures online of the house looked so magical. This is the only unit onsite with electricity. With that being said, only one outlet worked and one lamp in the house, which made it very dark and somewhat unable to see without camping...

Dear Natalie, Thank you for your feed-back. We do spend many hours every week maintaining the campground, and have a carpenter, electrician, and plumber on call, so it really helps to have customers come in to the office and let us know if there is a problem so we can call someone to fix it right away. We will ask...

Our family of five had been incredibly busy for a handful of weeks. Graduation, birthday, and other celebrations pending, we decided to escape to a simpler place for a quick check-in. The weather was fair, we stayed in a treehouse cottage w/ wood stove. Though their standard reservation policy dictates a 2-night obligation on weekends during the in-season, because we...

My wife and I had our wedding at The Treehouse Camp this July after spending a few nights here in autumn 2015 and falling in love with the charm of this place. It meant a lot to us to have our wedding at the very place we decided we wanted to get married. The campground has a lot of really...

Hi, We really enjoyed having you here, it was a very peaceful week end, it almost felt like no one was here, everyone was so respectful. We do work all week long preparing and cleaning every week, but do extra for weddings, like pressure washing the Pavilion and cookhouse. I do wish if anyone sees a wasps nest they will...

Nothing but good things to say about this family friendly campground! My boyfriend and I stayed this past weekend in the Wren treehouse. Our site was very clean and we were only a short 3 minute walk to the indoor bathrooms, showers, and office. The people in the office are so friendly and helpful with anything you may need! They...

Two couples recently stayed here after a recommendation from someone at work. We had the Birch treehouse (standard tree cottage) which was located directly across from the camp office and restrooms. For this reason, it was convenient. However, it was also next to the activities pavilion and on Friday night there was a large party with music, food, noise, and...

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The Hickory cottage is the one on the Pavilion side, and we just put a brand new grill in a few weeks ago, because we need and appreciate positive feedback. Thank you. We did have an unruly group of Dads having a graduation party for 5th graders, but only one Mom attended. The Dads...

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Maple Tree Campground! We (my husband and two girls who are 5 and 3) booked the Hobbit House for one night and it was absolutely not long enough! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained and everything is very clean! They are very dog friendly and welcomed our German Shepherd (other campgrounds in the...

Amazing experience. This place is great. Staff is super friendly. It's clean and quiet. Willow is one of the best spots you can get. Very close the both the AT and Antietam Battle Field. We'll be coming back for sure.

Really hard to leave such a peaceful place! Loved every minute, including winter! A must see experience! It is a rustic, primitive campground with secluded tent site and Tree houses and cottages, all of them have been rebuilt and modernized, however, leaving the natural, old fashioned cabin, cottage, look and feel. It is very wooded, tall oaks and natural too late everywhere. And eventhough it's been upgraded it still...
