When our vehicle broke down and we needed a place to stay immediately, the staff and owner of this hotel were extremely accommodating and flexible. Our hotel room was perfectly clean -- the cleanest we have experienced in years of travel throughout North America. The restaurant food was delicious and very reasonably priced. We couldn't have found a better place!

I stayed in room 28 on October 04, 2021. Great older hotel. Staff extremely helpful and all love their job. Only thing about the restaurant is that you can't get a fruit plate for breakfast. Dinner on Monday night was great. Very nice gift shop too. Local honey, homemade jams too . Patricia F the morning server very pleasant. The evening server was a guy I didn't save the receipt but he was probably in his late 20 or early 30 he also has an excellent heart to serve . The apple pie was PERFECT. Great to know that Christians operate this place too. The room was cleaned perfectly.

When the restaurant manager asks you "How was everything?"...and you take the time to say, "The bread on the Philly Cheese steak was way too thick, the steak was too tough, and you had never seen chopped tomatoes on a sub in your life... Her response was merely: "Our bread is thick". "I guess the chopped tomatoes was all they had in the kitchen". And I heard nothing but silence about the steak's toughness. Advice - Please don't ask your customers about their experience unless you are willing to listen and take measures to improve your product/service. I gave you the feedback because I cared about your business. You left me with the impression that you don't care about your customers (or their feedback). Very disappointing!

Our family stayed at the Casselman inn the weekend of Maryland country fest. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The shower had lots of water pressure. We ate at the restaurant twice and that is also excellent! Don’t go there without buying a pan of their cinnamon rolls!

I highly recommend The Casselman Inn. I enjoyed my time here. The food was good. The housekeepers were so nice and had great attitudes. I really liked the staff. The rooms are basic and comfortable. I slept well. The rooms are met for rest not to be stylish, but I am not spoiled like some of the people who comment on here. My lecture of the day to guests, if you smoke do not throw your butts on the ground when they are receptacles right there to discard butts. Nothing says you are selfish more than trashing a beautiful area with cigarette butts when you are too lazy and self absorbed to take a few steps.
