Hit the Jackpot first time out now I'm hooked. Our Host Tina was great. Accommodations were beautiful. Location was great. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. Situated on a hill overlooking Antietam Battlefield. Can't wait to return😀

My husband and I wanted a quiet weekend getaway and the Antietam Overlook by far surpassed our expectations! This is a beautiful property, clean and tastefully done! We loved the peacefulness and scenic views. Our room was warm and inviting and breakfast tasty and filling. We have already recommended the Antietam Overlook to co-workers and friends and we plan to...

Antietam Overlook Farm is a charming B&B. Just as its name implies, the facility is atop a mountain ridge overlooking a part of the Antietam Battlefield. It is about a two mile, curvy, uphill drive from the highway, and then a short drive up a lane to the inn itself. You might wish to make your first approach to the...

My wife and I enjoyed a weekend getaway at this beautiful B&B to celebrate our anniversary. Wonderful hospitality from the booking process through departure! We stayed in the Generals Quarters room which was lovely, spacious, and very quiet being situated at the far end of the house. The other rooms appeared to also be nice, but are located off the...

We stayed one night in The Birdwatcher Room, but we took tours of the four other equally charming rooms. When we go again, we'll look to rebook The Birdwatcher Room or go for The Overlook Room. These have the best panoramic views, including portions of the Antietam battlefield site. Screened, private portions for those two rooms, as well as The...

While clean and comfortable, the rooms of the inn are dated. Bathrooms tiny, and dark -- rooms are dark too. Having a private screened in porch was s HUGE plus. Breakfast was plentiful, and palatable, but not unique or interesting. Location makes this an easy stop, but it lacks elegance.

Thank you for your constructive review. The lighting in the room is by design. We find that as a quiet romantic getaway, most of our guests find the lighting romantic and relaxing.

A lovely spot. Beautiful view from our room's porch, and a delicious breeze on the hottest day of the year. We were in Sharpsburg for a tour of the Antietam battlefield and the inn was perfectly situated. Well-appointed and comfortable communal livingroom. Our room was comfortable, if a bit fussy. Too many tchotchkes for my taste. There was not enough...

We spent the night at this wonderful B&B while attending a festival in Shepherdstown, WV. It was just minutes away from the festival. It is also perfectly situated for those wanting to visit Antietam or even Hagerstown, MD. The room was rustically appointed, yet with all the modern requirements (Wifi). In the morning we were greeted with a wonderful breakfast....

The situation is wonderful, quiet and peaceful with wonderful views. Our room was furnished beautifully and very clean, we had a lovely relaxing day sitting on our terrace, reading and watching the many birds coming to use the feeders. The free beverages were an unexpected and much appreciated bonus. It was great to chat to other guests over breakfast. We...
