This is a lovely place, high on a hill, clean and nicely appointed. The food is perhaps the best we had in a two month bike ride across this country. What mattered most to me was the warm and helpful nature of our hosts. This is a family affair and they do it well. Our host picked us us from... More

What a fabulous break from a day of biking on the C&O trail. Dave and Donna were friendly hosts. Beautiful scenic over view. Breakfast, absolutely outstanding !! Wish we could stay longer. We really appreciated the shuttle up the hill to the inn and back down the following morning.

If it ain/t broken don't fix it. For the second year, I chose this property to host a bicycle tour my company offers. For the second year everything as perfect. Beautiful location. Large, clean and well appointed rooms. Town Hill is a Bed and Breakfast and what a breakfast awaits you. Trust me, it is a breakfast like you have... More

Situated high in the mountains overlooking PA, MD and WV. For a small fee, we were picked up near the C&O Towpath and returned the next day. Covered patio to store our bikes. Rooms are nicely furnished. Breakfast was hot and delicious.

A great bed and breakfast! Shuttle service to and from the C&O Canal Towpath; comfy, clean accommodations with all the amenities. Service was excellent, with all staff treating you like family. Food was AMAZING! Breakfast was so good, from the Alabama Tomato Pie to the multigrain oatmeal, all delicious. I was good through lunch. Would come back even when I'm... More

Great place to stay about 45 miles out from Cumberland on the C and O Canal. Wonderful accommodations, bike wash, and outstanding breakfast. Hosts do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. After arriving at Bill's Place, (restaurant and bar just off the trail) you are shuttled 7 miles up the hill to Town Hill and returned to the path... More

The inn is run by a very nice couple. He had been a contractor, and she had been a nurse before they started this B&B business. The property is very beautiful overlooking the mountains. It is a breathtaking sight early in the morning, when you can still see the fog. Our king-size bed room was $181 after taxes: a little... More

This was one of my favorite places as I spent 9 days biking the GAP (Great Allegheny Passage) and the C&O Towpath. I phoned Dave & Donna when I arrived at the pickup point and advised them that due to the rain and muddy trail, both my bike and I were filthy. Donna said not to worry and when the... More

We are biking the C & O Canal Towpath and the B & B is very used to hosting bikers, and even offers shuttle service up from the trail - vital, because they are perched in the hills far above the trail. The breakfast almost defies description - fruit, juice, their trademark tomato pie, one of the 40 different Eggs... More

Please stay here. This is the best B&B along the C&O trail, period. The breakfast we had is super delicious and it is comparable to 4-5 stars bakery shop. The room is beautiful and very comfortable to sleep in after a 100 miles bike ride. The staffs are so kind and friendly Btw, this B&B is way up on the... More
