Went on a small vacation to Ocean City, MD and prebooked this hotel. Wish I would have looked into this more. My mistake was not looking at the room before paying. We went into the room, rugs filthy, air conditioner didn't cool room, the bathroom had bugs crawling up the walls. Toilet handle broke and when you sat on toilet...

I booked this hotel for one night. When I went to check in the room I had reserved had a small refridgerator in it and it was leaking on the floor so I moved to the room next to it. I only dropped off my luggage and went out right away before inspecting the room. The carpet was disgusting. The...

We don't like to make reservations but after this last experience I think we might start doing that. We were tired and hot, the AC in the car was out. I was wanted to take a shower, maybe have a drink and go to bed. We knew after driving around the place that The Alamo wasn't a five star hotel,...

We got to Ocean City and there was no other place to stay (We stayed on the dock the first night somewhere lol, which was better than this), needless to say we had to drive inland to get something and saw the rates and thought it might worth it if we can't get anything out. My friend threw up on...

We recently stayed at the Alamo with 3 teenage girls. It was the worst motel we stayed in. It was a spurr of the moment idea to go to Ocean City and alot of places were either booked or told us we had to rent 2 rooms. I went to the local walmart after checking in and got cleaning items...

I was out in Ocean City during the off season, and there weren't too many choices. I love old motels. When I saw the cheery neon sign with the sombrero on top, I thought I had a winner for sure. I've rarely been more wrong. Now I know firsthand what happens to these wonderful old roadside treasures right before the...

The people all were very nice.I will continue to go to this motel every year.It is within walking distance of many places to eat, which are so much cheaper than the Boardwalk.Right across the street is a place for the kiddies. There are two crabhouse's...

I stayed at the Alamo back in 2005. Back then, I didn't know about TripAdvisor. I wish I did. I traveled with my sister and nephew. We just wanted a clean, quite place to stay for a couple of nights while at the beach. My sister was so afraid, she did not want to even lay on the bed. Our...
