Hotel was not clean, dirty rags left in shower from previous guests. Fridge was not cleaned, rotted and disgusting, old drinks left behind. Roof leaked, woke up to flooded floor. Broken wall. Staff called our room the “pussy room” did not get a refund when they had no room for us to stay in after our room flooded from the leaking roof. Do not stay here, not covid safe does not follow covid precautions if anyone knows how to report covid violations please let me know because this hotel was highly disgusting and not cleaned we were definitely exposed. House keepers were wearing street clothes and backwards hats and entered our room at 8 am without permission or identifying that they were staff, it was very scary and unsafe.

Management is aware of the horrible conditions the rooms are in. I arrived at this motel on Aug 27,2020-Aug 31,2020. Upon arrival I was notified that the TV doesn’t work (FIRST RED FLAG). When I got to my room it smelled like I walked into an ash tray after being told it was a nonsmoking facility. I inspected the room and bathroom. When I went to the bathroom I heard the toilet running I got it to stop running. When I use the bathroom and realized it did not want to the flush. The shower looked like it had not been cleaned in 10 years. I went downstairs to tell the receptionist about the toilet running. She followed me to the room looked at the toilet flushed it and said you just have to hold the handle down and that she will let maintenance know. When I asked if she knew when they would come out and fix the problem she just looked at me. My family member was on their way so I decided to wait until they got there to make a decision on if should stay or leave to another hotel. When they arrived we compared rooms. His room was more modern and didn’t have any issue compared to my room which felt like I was staying at the Bates Motel. We went to the lobby to speak to management and try and get this situated and we were informed that we would have to wait till the next day for management to arrive and that they do not offer any refunds. I then asked if I could at least be moved to another room for the smell of cigarettes was unbearable. This room was more modern and didn’t feel like I a horror movie. I inspected this room as well and it did not have curtains and the toilet and sink were so lose it felt like it would fall off. We decided it was better than the last room and take it. When I went to take a shower the pressure was horrible I have played in sprinkler with more pressure than that shower. The next morning the sun was shining in my face at the crack of dawn. We had decided the night before to just stick it out. We never heard anything back from management the next day about our concerns. So my boyfriend and I got creative and put out beach towels over the blinds to try and block the light from coming in. (DIDN’T WORK) We couldn’t take it anymore and decide we would stay at another hotel for our last days. The next morning, I went to the lobby to check out and speak with management about my horrible experiences. When the owner/ Manager came out I explained everything to her. She told me they do not do any refunds under and Circumstances but for this one time she would give me a refund for my last day. I thank her and waited for the refund. Then as she stared at the computer screen with my information she asked me how many nights I stayed at the hotel. I told her and she went on to tell me that she will not be giving me a refund for the night that all I will get is the deposit back. She then proceeds to give me an example of why she cannot give me a refund and that I needed to state my problems in the beginning of the stay. She then ended the conversation and walked away. Needless to stay DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IT IS HORRIBLE…

We stayed here in June 2020 for a weekend. I must say that the rooms were redone really well. Much cleaner! New floors. Staff was wonderful. Big changes for this motel. I will definitely stay here again!

I am not sure who I am supposed to contact regarding this deplorable establishment that is Cabana Motel-1900 Philadelphia Ave-Ocean City, MD, 21842 410-289-9131 - 1-877-289-4141 info@ocmdresorts.com. I was a dissatisfied guest of this motel on 6/14/19 for one night. My room rate + tax was: $201.90. Upon entering the room, the bathroom had not been cleaned, the sink was being held up by a wooden stick, and the T.V. did not work. So the front office clerk, Stacy (at the time) was going to give me a 20% discount off of my room. Since being back home, I have called to inquire about my refund to find out that Stacy know longer works there. So I spoke with some guy, who refused to give me his name, but spoke with an extremely thick accent. He stated that the refund would be off of $180. because they don't refund tax!?!?!?!?!, with that being said, I still have not received my refund, they gentleman still refuses to give me any names, says the computer is down and can't check to see when the refund was sent. I know that I was not the only one that was granted a refund but I need some assistance in collecting and maybe having an inspector visit this filthy hell whole. Because it was the weekend of the air show, all the hotels/motels were sold out, so we didn't have a choice but to stay that one night. I will contact the BBB, Yelp, OCVB and anyone else to draw attention to the handling of business as well as the health department……

I don't even know where to begin. I've stayed at 1-4 star hotels but I have never experienced such a disappointing stay, not to mention their lack of customer service! I had booked for 2 nights and ended up checking out the very next day, and demanded a refund. #1 Not fitted sheets on the bed, just a sheet with 2 cigarette burns & a big hole. #2 Windows had blinds, but no curtains (so @ night all the bright lights disrupted my sleep) #3 The Shower was absolutely disgusting ( I couldn't even bring myself to step in that thing) #4 The T.V and Wifi was not working in the 12 hours that we were there. #5 Customer Service was horrible, by far the worst I've experienced. The manager has no concern for her customers, I didn't even get an apology for all of the inconveniences. I was told that I should have read the reviews before booking, because they've been the same for the past 10 years she's been manager. Management needs to replaced and the whole place renovated! The only good thing was the location, but the cons definitely outweigh the pros, or should I say pro! Honestly, just find another hotel/motel, anything is a step up from this place. (Note: I didn't even unpack anything or change into night clothes, I laid out the towels that I brought in my suitcase and laid them out to sleep on, so I didn't touch the bed) I never write reviews, but I made sure to write one for this disgusting place because something needs to be done, do not give this place your hard earned money.
