My wife and I live in the Boston area and when we travel we usually head north because our "baby" is a six month old Brittany and there just aren't many properties on the Cape that take pets. Plus, we're now past the point where we need to choose cheap motels and then put up with the smell of disinfectant...

I love that..."Let's go to Cape Cod for Thanksgiving...with the dog...find a nice place..." Oh the pressure!!! I can feel your pain. THANK YOU for such a lovely review. Yes, Eileen's tours don't skip much and guests love them--and her. She is not an owner but certainly loves the inn just as much as we do, and if we are...

My Wife and I spent our 40th Wedding Anniversary at an Inn in Barnstable Mass. and we felt like we were in Paradise. The Lamb and Lion Inn is a little bit of Heaven on Earth. Ali, Tom and Eileen were unbelievable Hosts. They were there to take care of all our needs. The Rooms were beautiful and very comfortable....

This is my favorite bed and breakfast and I have been to quite a few lovely places in New England. Stayed in suite 6, it was quite spacious and opened up to the pool area. The room was lovely and a mix of cozy and modern. There was a full bath and kitchenette, all the convenient amenities of home. At...

Thank you, thank you, thank you. We really appreciate the kind words, and we have been told in the past that we are a pleasant place to be when one finds themselves grieving over a loved one, which isn't just an extremely nice compliment, it's very important to us to BE that place and offer that warm, but unobtrusive comfort....

We enjoyed our previous stay so much, we returned with friends for a getaway! Peaceful, beautiful grounds, salt water pool, tranquil. charming and spacious rooms. Ali, Eileen, and Tom are welcoming and helpful. A well thought out book is in the room, rich in history of the Inn. Very helpful tips for the area are included. The location and atmosphere...

This is a beautiful and peaceful escape for anyone traveling to the Cape. The Innkeepers Ali, Tom and Eileen are all so lovely and warm and their precious pups are ADORABLE! I felt welcomed the moment I booked my reservation with Eileen and didn't want to leave it was so relaxing. It is a pet friendly property that is kept...

THANKS for the great review! We truly appreciate it. And thanks for noticing the "clean" part--Eileen, Ali, Donka, Elena and myself are always at it, so it's nice to have people notice. Here we are--the leaves are changing into their vibrant colors already! It seems like fall is going to go by as fast as summer did. The (real!) wood-burning...

Just returned home from a beautiful Labor Day 2016 weekend at L & L...for the past several years we can not end the summer without a stay at this inn. To picture this wonderful inn kindly direct your attention to my reviews of 6/14, 7/13 and 8/12. All attributes described therein remain current. Tom and Ali continue to take immaculate...

Bob and Ivy! Two people who have become more like family at this point. We have been here at the inn for 17 years now (and doing this a lot longer than that!) and you see thousands of people come and go. It's always wonderful to have guests who come back year after year, enjoy the relaxed familiarity of Cape...

Last month my wife and I spent three great days on Cape Cod thanks to Tom, Ali and Eileen. We were greeted warmly by Tom who made sure we were taken care of and answered all of our questions -- where to eat, what to see, Nantucket v. Martha's Vineyard, etc. Their notebook/binder in each room provides extremely helpful information...

We got the gold!!?? Oh...you made our day!! We work so tirelessly to give the guests the best time we can and to take care of "our baby", the Lamb and Lion Inn. We are very proud that for the past 9 YEARS the inn has won "Best mid-Cape B&B/Inn" from Cape Cod Life Magazine, but this is the first...

The hosts make this B&B as they are very welcoming when you arrive and are extremely helpful with knowledgeable with tips about the area. They provide a welcome book with info but you also can get discounts on the whale watching boat, tips on where to park, and where the secluded beaches are located. Rooms are all a bit different,...

The Cape Cod shower is one of our favorite features about the inn, so we are thrilled you "got it"! There is NOTHING better than waking up in the morning and taking a hot shower outdoors with a cool breeze, sunshine, seagulls flying overhead and the smell of salt air. OK, there are better things--way better, BUT it's still an...

They really do get it right at this intimate jewel of an inn nestled in a quiet spot that's also walkable to the delightful village center of Barnstable. Accommodations are some of the most spacious we've experienced as frequent B&B guests. My husband and I were in Innkeepers Pride. The layout and elbow room in the closet and bath areas...

What a lovely review--and an awesome family!!! We had a great time with these folks during poolside breakfasts and I'm pretty sure Ali had fires going for everyone in the evenings at that point--this family really knew how to have fun and quickly got into the "Lamb and Lion vibe". Too short indeed! The Cape is BIG and you need time to hit all the hot spots and leave yourself enough room for chillin' by the pool! 3 days is really like 2 and a half days and that's the minimum a guest should plan on--self-guided driving tours, whale watching, the beach, mini golf, eating, shopping, the islands!?!
