No one answered the phone in the days leading up to our arrival which should have been my first red flag. I had to call my sister to drive down and ask the desk to call me, but no one was there and it was all dark. When we got in we found our keys in an envelope tapped to...

We had a great time at this Inn. Innkeepers Ana and Cliff go out of their way to make you feel like family. Chef Mark and his staff provided outstanding food and service the five days we were there. Our motor coach group used the Inn as our base to visit sights in the area. They also provided box and...

I was a bit apprehensive when I booked this place. I usually only stay at chain hotels but wanted something close for a sporting tournament that was 5 minutes away. I was pleasantly surprised!! The rooms were extremely spacious, updated and clean. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom sink is outside the shower/toilet room. That made it...

My two teenage daughters and I recently stayed at the Inn for a local lacrosse tournament. Everything was fantastic!! We were allowed to check in early (which made my teenager happy to be able to shower before heading out to shop!) Our room (28) overlooked the beautiful woods. The flowers on the property were the prettiest I've ever seen!! The...

A beautiful Inn, clean, well kept and very comfortable rooms. Cliff & Anna and the entire staff make you feel like family-like you have known them for years-extremely friendly and personable staff. The common area/courtyard Evening is great for a relaxing evening and Cliff has done a beautiful job with the landscaping, flowers and hanging planters. Meals were excellent-well prepared,...

This is a country inn with great rooms overlooking trees. An incredibly convenient location right next to the highway exit, but very quiet at night. The breakfast is very good, better than expected for the "light continental" advertised. Comfortable beds. And the owners are very nice, welcoming, friendly, and informed about local resources. Great place.

The Inn at Crumpin-Fox is under new management since our previous review. Cliff and Ana Kaiser, new managers, work tirelessly to improve the ambiance and to assure each guest that they are cared for, that each need is met. A considerable investment has been to update the dining area and improve the rooms. Breakfasts are plentiful, varied, and delicious. The...

We were looking for a nice B & B or Inn not too far from UMass on their Open House weekend. Everything was booked close by until I found on Trip Advisor The Inn at Crumpin-Fox in Bernardston, MA., about 20 miles from UMass. This Inn was, at one time, a private hunting lodge. The outside is nothing special, but...
