Nice park with beautiful views of a pond which has a small beach. We liked walking around. Parking was plentiful off season. However, beware of snakes! None of them are venomous but if you are afraid of them avoid the pond / beach area. We saw 3 snakes within a 200 meter range there. We managed to take a picture...

This was a great park until one person made the decision to close it down in all of April and May 2017. Fees are also increasing again in 2017. The park will also be closing early in October. What good is a campground if its closed? Same on Massachusetts for closing this campground and all the others.

We stayed here one night on our Northeast road trip. The campground has a large number of sites and we were worried about it being crowded but we were able to find a nice private one that had ample room to spread out on with some great trees for stringing up the hammocks. Many of the other sites also seemed...

We went there first in 2012. We try to re-book it ever since. It is so popular that we could not go there on any major holidays. Clean and neat everything in the park is just first class. The hikes are just fabulous and the lakes are crystal clear.

Love this place. Great trip. We stayed in a yurt. You have access to all of cape cod at great value. Kettle ponds are a great way to finish a day on the Cape. Would recommend this to anyone. First class spot.

Nickerson State Park is a great place to camp. The pitches are spacious and spread throughout the forest. They vary somewhat and it's difficult to know when booking whether they are secluded or open, shady or sunny. Toilet facilities were basic but generally clean although there weren't enough sinks for washing dishes. The park offers lots of activities such as...

Nickerson has to be the best campground on the camp. Located near Orleans in Brewster, it is within 10 minuted of some of the best ocean beaches on the Cape (Nauset, Skaket, Coast Guard) and Bay beaches as well. But the wooded location feels like you are camping in the mountains someplace. Great facilities - Camp Store has anything you...

We loved the location so close to the beaches & center Cape. We stayed in area 7, site 9 & 14 which yes is 3 miles from the entrance, but I can live with that. Too many times the bathrooms were filthy, there is no shower in area 7, you have to drive to area 6 to shower. We went...

Great campground for families and groups of friends. I stayed here for a weekend, with myself and a friend and we found it to be very clean. It was nice that the campsites had some space/trees between them so you were not super close to other people (we stayed in a tent sight in section 3). There are some freshwater...
