Love this place. Great trip. We stayed in a yurt. You have access to all of cape cod at great value. Kettle ponds are a great way to finish a day on the Cape. Would recommend this to anyone. First class spot.

The Campsites are nice. The Restroom was clean. The area is peaceful. The ocean is only 10 minutes away!. There are MANY Great things in the area to do! It also has a lake with a beach!! Lemon Tree village is close.

Nickerson State Park is a great place to camp. The pitches are spacious and spread throughout the forest. They vary somewhat and it's difficult to know when booking whether they are secluded or open, shady or sunny. Toilet facilities were basic but generally clean although there weren't enough sinks for washing dishes. The park offers lots of activities such as... More

Nickerson has to be the best campground on the camp. Located near Orleans in Brewster, it is within 10 minuted of some of the best ocean beaches on the Cape (Nauset, Skaket, Coast Guard) and Bay beaches as well. But the wooded location feels like you are camping in the mountains someplace. Great facilities - Camp Store has anything you... More

We loved the location so close to the beaches & center Cape. We stayed in area 7, site 9 & 14 which yes is 3 miles from the entrance, but I can live with that. Too many times the bathrooms were filthy, there is no shower in area 7, you have to drive to area 6 to shower. We went... More

Great campground for families and groups of friends. I stayed here for a weekend, with myself and a friend and we found it to be very clean. It was nice that the campsites had some space/trees between them so you were not super close to other people (we stayed in a tent sight in section 3). There are some freshwater... More

Swimming, my favorite thing to do on Cape Cod, has just been enhanced by my first visit to Nickerson State Park. We biked there on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, and cooled off in a sparklingly clear, fairly empty pond. If you want a break from sand and salt, check this place out. If you get a Massachusetts State Parks... More

Nickerson is a family friendly park. This is my first camping trip. We stayed in area 4-- traveled around much of the park and most areas seemed nice. The size of the camp sites varied as well as their distance from the road. The bathrooms were ok. Yes there were some insects in them, but we are in the outdoors.... More

We're not really "campers" other than with Boy Scouts- but we couldn't get our Cape house rental on Friday night, so for $35 I figured we'd set up the large tent and rough it so we could beat the Saturday bridge traffic. Bottom line is we rented a tent site, check in was easy, staff was very nice and the... More
