We stayed at the Highlander last week and found it to be a very good hotel. Its location is great, within walking distance to Chatham center, Oyster Pond, The Chatham Market and a CVS. The pool was very clean and inviting. There are several areas where improvement can be made. Our room did not have enough dressers for clothing and...

The Chatham Highlander is a charming mid-century vintage motor inn in a very convenient location just outside Chatham Village. The motel is clean, and comfortable with a coffee maker, microwave, window air conditioner and refrigerator in the room. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was very quiet. Even though there was a family with children in the room...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 5 nights at the Highlander. The room was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Helpful having the pool and grassy area to sit after a day sight seeing or at the beach. Easy to walk to the charming town. The manager was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Enjoyed the Chatham Squirrel bar and the Del Mar...

We stayed four nights in this affordable yet pleasant motel. We recommend it as a way to visit Chatham and surroundings. Practical simple cooking possibility in room is a plus. And just across the street is Chatham's best restaurant Del Mar.

My family and I booked a vacation to Chatham at the last minute and reserved a room at the Chatham Highlander Motel because they had vacancies and good reviews. I also liked that the rooms were reasonably priced and it had a pool. The motel exceeded our expectations. Some aspects of the room/property were dated but it was very clean,...

This was my third stay at the Chatham Highlander. The owners are always upgrading the rooms. The manager is professional, kind, and very helpful, re: restaurants, directions, shopping, etc. The staff were polite and friendly. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. The bed comfortable, nice toiletries. Heated pool. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. I will be returning...

My son was taking a course in Chatham this past week and my wife booked a last-minute budget stay at the Highlander. We honestly booked it because of price but we could not have been more satisfied! I only joined them for two nights of their stay but my wife was very pleased and pleasantly surprised. The rooms were spotlessly...

Couldn't have been happier with our stay! Very very nice people and great location. The hotel is in the process of renovating rooms and our room had not been renovated yet. We were visiting mid-week, were told they were in the process of renovating and were offered a discount so we were expecting an older room. The room was spotlessly...

My wife and I went to the Highlander this past spring. The price was right, the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was very basic and while clean, just seemed tired. The location is not really walking distance to town or the beach, so you have to drive if you want to see anything. If you...

We were only here for one night for a wedding, but it was perfect! The room wasn't super fancy, but the WiFi, TV, and all appliances worked perfectly. There was AC, parking directly outside the room, and everything was super clean. Check-in was really friendly and accommodating when we asked to check in a little early if possible because we...
