We were celebrating a birthday with friends and booked dinner here. We had a res. The bar area was packed, but the restaurant was very quiet. The food, for the most part, was very average. I had the Cod which had olives and a lot of basil. My husband had the chicken which also had more than it's share of...

My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. Our room was adorable- decorated in keeping with the period and very comfortable. I really felt as if I were staying in a friends home, I was so relaxed and comfortable! It was nice to be able to grab a drink at the bar downstairs before bed - despite the restaurant...

We stayed at the Winsor House and ate dinner. The experience was wonderful. The dining atmosphere and food were equally enjoyable. The staff worked very hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend a meal here or an overnight stay.

I had high expectations of the "new" Windsor House Tavern, as I hadn't been there since the ownership had changed. It looked about the same maybe some cleaning & new fabrics while still maintaining the charm of an 1800's tavern. One quick recommendation, ditch the benches and add chairs. Hubby @ 6' 3" looked a bit uncomfortable by the end...

My wife and I stayed two nights in the winsor room which has it own bathroom down the hall from the room. Besides that inconvenience we really enjoyed our stay. Michael, the manager was very courteous and friendly as was the rest of the staff. The reviews I read prior to staying complained about the church bell ringing and the...

Stayed at the Inn on a recent trip. Pricey accommodations. Worst part was a church about 100 feet from the Inn which rings its bells every hour 24/7 so don't expect a good night's sleep! Wish we had known this before so we could choose a different hotel.

My sister and I were in the pub Saturday night and the bartender and waitress were serving very obviously intoxicated people who were out of control. Boy things change once the owner and her husband leave the pub. Customers were coming back to the table with 5 drinks in their hands. Are you kidding??? Does this place have a manager?...

The Windsor House has recently changed ownership and, wow, what a difference! Being one of just a few restaurants/bars in Duxbury, the old owners clearly took for granted the captive audience. This was apparent in both the mediocre food and hit or miss service. The new owners have raised the bar significantly, renovating the building and the grounds while maintaining...

The WHI is in a super location in one of New Englands premier villages. The just updated restaurant in the Inn has become a local landmark again for good food and atmosphere since the new owners brought in the amazing chief and re-ddecorated and expanded the tasteful dining spaces. We really needed a neat place to stay for just one...

My family was in Duxbury for a wedding and the Winsor House Inn was perfect for us. The inn is under new ownership, and the new owners have done a tremendous job upgrading everything -- the food, the facilities, the service...everything. The new owners were incredibly accommodating and made our stay as easy as possible by making sure we had...
