The Tides Motel is certainly not The Ritz, and does not even have air conditioning, but it doesn't need it as the ocean breeze wafts through the room refreshingly. The view of the entrance to Falmouth Harbour only a hundred feet from our balcony with the passing sailboats, the Island Queen to Martha's Vineyard, the yachts, the deep sea fishing...

The rooms are clean, with two queen beds , a small table with two chairs, an arm chair and a kitchenette with sink microwave and nice size mini fridge. The bathroom had a good shower. Blow dryers have to be asked for in the office. There is no closet but there is a nice wall mounted rack at the entrance...

Step outside your room at the Tides & you are greeted to the sea ,sand, salt air , amazing views of Martha's Vineyard and all the boats , yachts & ferries passing thru the harbor canal. The owners & staff take real good care of you going out of their way to keep their vacationers happy. We found this place sooo...

We stayed here for only 1 night, but it was wonderful. Go in the front door and straight ahead was the ocean. A little patio and the ocean was right there! Listening to the waves was so soothing. It was an old fashioned motel with immaculate, clean rooms. No phone, which is no problem! Only 2 little complaints, the T.V....

We are locals stayed her for a quick get-away. Older rooms but tasteful decorated kitchenette we used to save money and enjoyed the peace and rhe smell and sound of the ocean. Short walk to catch the Island Queen for a trip to Martha's Vineyard!

Spent a wonderful long weekend at the Tides. Although it appears vintage from the outside, the room was immaculate and very comfortable. Coffee maker, toaster and microwave allowed us to enjoy breakfast on the balcony overlooking Nantucket Sound. Restaurants, shops and ferry were within walking distance. My wife and I will certainly return to the Tides and would recommend it...

I booked the tides based on research on the internet, beach location and close to Martha's Vineyard ferries. It really is a no frills motel with no phone, shampoo, AC and the decorating was right out of a 1970's Sears catalogue. Including two matching paintings in the same room. The thing is with the Tides that's part of the charm....

My wife and I stayed at the Tides Hotel from 9/2 until 9/8. Overall we had a great time and would recommend the Tides. But there are a couple things to be aware of before you choose to stay here. The Tides is an older motel but is very well maintained. We stayed on the second floor in unit #22....

Being from the mid-west where July can be unbearable - we so love spending a week with our friends at The Tides of Falmouth. Mild weather and ocean breezes - doesn't get any better. This year we added two other couples to our group - I think they are hooked!
