It's one of my husband and my favorite get-away places. The rooms are very clean and a good size with a refrigerator in all the rooms we've stayed in. It's a very typical beach front motel. The views of the beach are the best depending on where your room is situated and the staff can't be beat. My life-long friend...

As the other reviewers have stated, Good Harbor Beach Inn is a modest hotel, with friendly staff and clean rooms, but the main reason people come back here year after year (and some families have been returning for 40 years!) is that you walk out your door and you're on the best beach in Gloucester. (Some would say the best...

On Wednesday, my Wife and I decided to try our luck at booking a last minute deal on a room at Good Harbor beach in Gloucester. We have relatives who were staying at the Vista up the street, but that was booked, so I tried the Good Harbor Beach Inn. Lucky for us, there was a room available for Friday...

Went recently with my boyfriend, not flashy, somewhat outdated but the room was quaint with a beach cottage feel…knotty pine paneling, 2 queen beds , and an air conditioner and refrigerator in the rooms (a plus). Outside courtyard area with many tables very nice to sit and eat breakfast or have a snack. Snack bar right there …. and this...

Went recently w/ my hubby for a long weekend, it was quite nice, this is a quaint little inn/motel, w/ a cozy lobby, they have coffee and poptarts/donuts in the mornings. The rooms aren't bad, basic, all are super clean, especially the bathrooms, they do a nice job. Knotty pine walls, 2 beds in most of the rooms (double beds),...

This modest inn of 14 rooms is situated right, and I mean right, on Good Harbor Beach. A number of rooms have spectacular views looking right down the beach. Each room is very simply furnished with knotty pine walls, small bathrooms and somewhat outdated furniture. But, the location more than makes up for the lack of amenities in the rooms....

On several ocassions we have chosen the Good Harbor Beach Inn as a spot to explore the Rockport/Gloucester area with our dogs. The location is superb, the views and sounds of the ocean omnipresent. Although the rooms are simply furnished, they provide the necessary comfort. The prices are reasonable and the staff at the front desk are always helpful. A...

The beach itself is beautiful, the sand is clean and soft, there are good waves in the (very cold) water, there's an island you can walk to and an area of shallow water with rocks (kids enjoy finding crabs etc there). There are rinsing showers and clean restrooms. There are lifeguards on duty but they don't really help and serve,...

Hotel is old but location is wonderful. Staff is friendly. You will not be happy with this hotel if you want to stay in a nice place with amenities and a pool. The beach is wonderful the rooms are old but the sheets are clean and the showers are hot. Dogs are allowed in the spring and fall.

A friend and I did a no-husband weekend here, and got a room with twin beds and a view of the beach. It was perfect for us. The room was small, but perfectly adequate, since we spent most of our time on the beach or in town. It was very clean, in need of small repairs (e.g. a couple tiles...

“Lastly, If you DO decide to stay here, ask for room 17 (great view)or 13 (crap view), they are the only TWO renovated rooms and they are very small but perfect for a couple! Otherwise, try another hotel.”
