This is a delightful find in a great location. Nice to sit on the front porch and look out across the water. Our room was a little small but nice. Sam provided great hospitality. It is walking distance to the shopping and restaurant area. Great place for breakfast and evening ice cream near-by. Walkway along the water is a great... More

Great location on the boulevard which is close to town and stage fort park. John and his staff are friendly and very accommodating. Had the Goloub Suite on the first floor which was outstanding. Breakfast was nothing special but overall stay was great.

The two best features of this lovely 205-year-old house made B&B are the warm attention of the owner and the location. My mom and I stayed nine nights, giving us ample opportunity to see how things work around this bright and welcoming establishment. Here is a list of positives, followed by a couple of suggestions: *John puts a lot of... More

This is an old house, over 200 years, so it has lots of character but it is well maintained. John, the owner is very pleasant and accommodating and spent plenty of time giving us ideas for things to do around town. Breakfast is strictly continental.

This bed-and-breakfast is located right on the harbor/ocean, so the view was amazing. It's just a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the main downtown area. We arrived about an hour before check-in, and we were told that our room was ready. The host was very gracious and accommodating. There is an outdoor porch or you can sit and... More

Superior views of Gloucester Harbor and 50 foot steps away from the world-renowned Fisherman's Memorial. Foot steps! This tranquil B&B offers plenty of free off-street parking-I didn't know it existed-available behind the Inn. It is located mere minutes from the freshest seafood on the east coast. We chose Captain Carlos -perfect. This was a "hectic schedule-one overnight-sneak-away trip from 3... More

We only stayed here only one night and it was enough for us. The owner was very nice and accommodating and the view from our room was great. The parking wasn't too bad but we ended up having to park on the street because the spots on the property were all taken. You're within walking distance to the Fisherman's memorial and... More

My husband and I had a wonderful 4 night stay in the Gloucester Suite. Upon entering this beautifully decorated Bed & Breakfast we were warmly welcomed by the owner John. John made us feel very comfortable right away. Our spacious suite was absolutely beautiful! The reading room had a wonderful view of the harbor and our bedroom was so charming... More

I was in town for a wedding and chose the Harborview Inn because of the ratings and the location. I stayed in the Manchester room. I disagree with some reviews that complained about the decor. If you are expecting a stay at the newest Marriott, you may be disappointed. This is a quaint, New England home built more than 100... More
