We didn't stay the night- but had cocktails at the bar! What a blast! The clientele and bar staff were awesome. We had so much fun. Being there Halloween Saturday was a total bonus! Met some great people and it was wonderful walking around looking at all the Pictures of the real Andrea Gail fisherman and pics of the crew... More

The bar was fun and the people are super friendly. We got a room in advance so we wouldn't have to drive after drinking. The rooms were very clean. Nothing fancy just perfect to go to bed after drinking. We had a room in the front so you could open the windows. Will definitely go back if I ever get... More

We were weary travels who needed a hot shower, good meal, and so sleep! We got it all within our budget! We only wish we had more time to visit with the locals. The next day we continued on to Rockport! What a beautiful area. We will come back.

Our room was in the front, so we could open the windows and smell and see the ocean! Our room was clean, and very affordable. We had an issue with the toilet, so I called Greg and he sent someone up to fix it right away. We stayed 4 nights, and were more than pleased with the accomodations. We were... More

We just got back from our second stay at the crows nest. (Same week last year). We were in Gloucester again visiting my high school friends. Still a great place, great price and an awesome bar downstairs. Had drinks in the bar most nights before or after catching up with friends - everyone is always friendly and before you know... More

My husband and myself just came back from a 7 night stay at the crows nest whilst visiting my old high school friends in Gloucester. The room and bathroom were both clean and contained everything we needed. The maid came to clean daily (although we were usually having a lie in so just asked her to leave clean towels 😉).... More

Stayed at the Crow's Nest with my daughter. We were going out on the Cape Ann Whale Watch. Location could not have been better, right across the street from each other. Crow's Nest is friendly and very basic, they have shampoo in the bathroom and a TV, that's it. They do straighten the bed and bring clean towels each day.... More

We were at first pleased to make a reservation at the popular Crow's Nest. Made the map due to the movie, The Perfect Storm. There is no on site parking, you have to park on the street wherever and whenever a spot opens up. We were told that they become more available as the night goes on. We had a... More

My wife and I recently stayed a couple of nights in Gloucester before heading to Boston for a couple Red Sox games. We are from North Carolina so one could imagine the conversations we had with the locals about our accents!! Everyone at the Crows Nest on the day we went were locals but us and we were made to... My second time here. Wife was a bit apprehensive, her first time. However, she enjoyed it as well. Rooms are very basic but clean. Bed was just O.K. and we slept like babies. Room comes with a fridge and has good heating control. Can't beat the location of this hotel on the harbour. The great bar downstairs is a bonus.... More
