Wife and I were touring boston on a whim and happened upon this place. I was a little skeptical at first but now I can't say enough about how wonderful this place was. We flew into Boston and camped here for 4 nights, bringing only the basic sleeping/showering equipment. It was difficult to find following our Mapquest directions, so use the directions on a regular map, or from your camping reservations confirmation letter. The price was only $14 a night; how can you beat that?? The bathrooms needed some attention after 4 days,...

it is an excellent park, very clean, quite nice and organised. We stayed there for 1 wk and did day trips to Boston and the area. It was such a good and cheaper solution than staying in the city. We camped at the Wampatuck State Park, in Hingham, Mass, 11 miles from Boston, it was fantastic, beautiful outdoors, with hiking trails, fishing, camping.
