A uniquely wonderful Inn. They not only accomodated 3 large dogs, they walked them and cared for them while we were out. The "where to eat and play" advice alone was worth staying there for. It's a combination of a vintage british car museum, an ecclectic collectables museum, and a fine old rambling New England Inn. Long after you forget...

I have mixed feelings about this B&B: Strong points: Bill, the owner, is full of information and shares it freely, gives you coupons, etc You get a welcome drink in the evening The room was clean, the bed was good, we slept well Central location to visit the islands Ok: The breakfast is ok, fresh made, and you get seconds...

Simmons Homestead Inn in Hyannis port is a great central location to see all of the Capes sights and attractions. The Inn is a very comfortable home away from home . Bill Putman the man at the helm is very knowledgeable not only on the sights and sounds in Cape Cod but also in Main , New Hampshire and surrounding...

Title is pretty self explanatory and could be good or bad depending on what your expectations and preferences are. The positives: very nice thoughtful touches like providing toiletries if you forgot yours at home, free beverages regularly available, mini guest fridges in the dining room if you need to store any food or drinks, free wifi, dog friendly with plenty...

Quaint themed rooms. Pleasant home feel. Good jump off location for seeing all of Cape Cod. There's a surprise in the back yard for any British petrol heads, 40 MGs, Jags, Austin Healeys, Triumphs, Lotus', Jensen, Morgan. Bill is a gracious host full of local knowledge and happy to share.

Love having folks from England. When the economy was better, had them all the time, especially in October 'Holiday' season. Then not too many could afford the rising air fairs, but coming again. Only problem with Brits, is that they spend a lot of time out in Toad Hall checking out the 40 some odd British Cars we have there....

Thanks, fun watching the whole gang of you run around time for the John Kelley races. Dog could have joined you, but legs a tad short. Love it when people say how pet friendly we are, but remember we are people friendly as well :-)

This was a terrific Bed and Breakfast where we stayed for six nights with our Golden Retriever. We were greeted by the “innkeeper of sorts” Bill Putman and some of the 25 resident cats. The inn and each room are decorated with quirky sayings and collectibles and memorabilia. Toad Hall houses Bill’s impressive collection of red antique cars. We had...

I had a great visit to New England and Bill made it so much easier. I had to be in so many places while I was there and he planned my days for me so that I could make it everywhere on time. I even had time to go to the amazing restaurants he recommended and I was still able...

Jenn, I had about as much fun as you did. Helping you plan out the 3 days of trips and seeing how well you did the following morning at breakfast was enjoyable. But ..... next time bring your husband and enjoy the Cape as much as you enjoyed the research this trip. Thanks again, Bill

We had a great time at Simmons Homestead Inn last August! We stayed at the Inn for a week while relaxing and exploring Cape Cod, following much of Bill's excellent advice (in person and from his information handouts). As many have said, the whole place--with all its details--is very unique! (We have a red car, so we may be a...

Always enjoy folks from 'Mid Canada' (and their dogs of course). When I fist started the Inn some 27 years ago the Canadian dollar was and had always been worth $1.10 to ours. Then it dropped to about half and I really missed you 'northerners.' Now it's good to have you back. And ..... keep coming back! Thanks, Bill
