This was my first visit to Kripalu and I was not expecting to love it as much as I did. Yes, the rooms are tiny and there was a sink overlapping the foot of my bed and shared bathrooms. But, the food was awesome, fresh, healthy and delicious. The grounds were beautiful. I loved my yoga classes and was surprised... More

I'd heard about Kripalu long before my first stay in 2006. That snowy December weekend was life-shaping. I returned a half-year later for a certificate program, and after that for a professional immersion, and following that for a couples weekend with my husband, followed by a week long personal health retreat--with an 8 year stretch between all those stays. In... More

Attended Kripalu for a workshop with no idea what to expect! Chose to stay in the Annex in a private room/private bath which was the right choice for me. Accommodations are clean and basic but having a private room was what I needed to fully recharge. The Annex is connected to the main building and a short easy walk (5... More

While the rooms were small, they were certainly of sufficient size, especially as there were so many common spaces in which to read, ponder and enjoy the scenery. The food was fantastic - plant-centric with lots of great options for every eater. The grounds were serene and magical, especially on a foggy and overcast weekend. The program we attended was... I've been going up to Kripalu since the early 90's when it was transitioning from an ashram to a retreat center. I was trained and certified in two types of yoga dance and have been dancing and teaching dance for years. I've had wonderful experiences there, but in this most recent trip, I was disappointed in the yoga dance which... More

I go to Kripalu yearly for healing arts sessions. I do not do yoga often so that's not my main objective. I go to Kripalu when I need to get my mind and spirit rebalanced. I do a packed in 2 days of healing arts. I really enjoy the sessions. Every treatment is done with the best hands in the... More

Just got back from my third stay at the Kripalu Center (May 2015, Oct 2015, and Aug 2016) and I know I will be going back again. If you’re looking for a place to unplug, do yoga, and meditate, Kripalu Center would be hard to beat. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s got a contemplative vibe that permeates every... More

Beautiful location with a very comfortable accommodations. My sister and I shared a room with two twin beds and had to share a hall bath, but it was no problem at all. You can get a room with a bath, but we opted for the less expensive accommodation. The experience was wonderful with lots of choices of activities, not just... More
