We went up for an evening concert at Tanglewood and wanted to stay overnight to avoid a late-night drive home to Connecticut. Hampton Terrace features a charming parlor with baby-grand piano, antiques, and Atticus (sweet dog!). The place is immaculate. Our room was spacious and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. Claw-foot tub is fine for shower. Breakfast features all-you-can eat...

This is a welcoming environment for us after a working summer at home. Indeed it is our second summer at Hampton Inn and we plan to return next year. Our room was large and well appointed. Breakfast is an exceptional treat and we particularly enjoyed the company of the other guests. Finally the inn is well located, within walking distance...

The location, close to township, restaurants and Tangelwood and Shakespeare & Co. (the reason for our visit), plus the general amenities of this charming B&B more than compensated for any minor quibbles (eg burnt out light globe and cracked bathroom sink surround). It is large enough not to feel claustraphobic and intrusive, while small enough to feel homely. The breakfasts...

Ever since our our first stay at the Hampton Terrace, we have been impresed with its atmosphere, facilities and overall efficiency. We have looked forward to coming back, and Stan Rosen, the congenial owner and host, does his best to provide us with our favorite accommodations. We stayed for a week and found the rooms to be clean & comfortable - excellent modern bathrooms (always a plus at a B&B Inn!). Breakfasts were great, and the main house was just beautiful. We really enjoyed the beautiful bar area where we gathered most evenings with our wine & cheese. The Location couldn't have been better, as we...

My husband and I decided to stay here on our honeymoon in the Berkshires, and we are looking forward to coming back for our anniversary every summer! Our room (the Spencer) is neat, clean, cozy and perfect. We listen to jazz music, light the fire, and imagine that we are in the Gilded Age. Our first night, Broadway stars from...

There is no better place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of charming Lenox Village, and don't want to spend an arm and a leg. Host Stan Rosen is always polite, welcoming and accommodating. Rooms vary in size, but are all decorated with care. An unusual bonus is the crystal clear pool that Stan maintains in...

We've been to Hampton Terrace several times-each time it gets better. I usually don't sleep well when I'm traveling, but here the bed was like home- I slept like a baby. Our room was large, airy , and comfortable. They have fluffy towels, and plenty of them. For breakfast there is always choices, a variety of breads, cereals, egg dishes,...

My husband and I made our first trip to The Berkshires in early August. After doing some research on possible locations, we decided on Lenox. It was described as a small historical town in a central location with a lot to do, not only there but in areas close by. We had looked at Stockbridge; but it sounded too crowded...
