Just got back from a visit to The Rookwood Inn in Lenox. Serenity now! From the welcoming porch to the cozy guest areas and beautifully appointed rooms, this place has it all. Combine that with a great location, walking distance to the shops and restaurants in town and amazing breakfasts, and you have a winner. My wife and I have...

I called and made a reservation with Amy three weeks ahead of time. I made the reservation in my name and gave her a credit card that is my name only. She asked who was accompanying me and I said my husband Donald. I then received an email at my email address with an confirmation for Donald. I emailed back...

My wife and I stayed in this sweet painted lady for two nights while visiting the Berkshires for theater and sightseeing. The staff was exceptional. Chris, Mel, Jen, and Kelly were the best! It was our anniversary and the ladies assembled a beautiful freshly picked bouquet of flowers and drew a handmade card for us and delivered it to our...

We have stayed at Rookwood Inn several times and always enjoy returning. The rooms (we have stayed in several) are all charming, comfortable and clean. The Inn is located well within walking distance of the town and nearby Tanglewood as well as many other points of interest. The afternoon snack, newspapers and community- use refrigerator are all pluses. Best of...

The inn is the real thing - it's true to its Victorian roots in all the decor. Our room was on the less expensive end of the scale and thus was smaller (including the bathroom) but it still had everything we needed including plush robes, nightstands, and reading lamps. The breakfast was great, eggs cooked to order and lots of...

Part of what we love about going to the Berkshires every summer is The Rookwood Inn. The Victorian b&b has all the grace and charm of a past era paired with all modern amenities. The rooms are charming and distinctive. Some include fireplaces, canopy beds, or claw-foot tubs. All are immaculately clean and include free phone and wi-fi. Food allergies?...

We wanted to spend a couple of days hearing music at Tanglewood and maybe seeing a play or two, so the Rookwood Inn was a wonderful place to stay. You can walk into Lenox, and you can even walk to Tanglewood (1.2 miles to main gate with a sidewalk the whole way). We found the Inn's owner and her staff...

Amy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well kept. The breakfasts ranged from good to great and the coffee was excellent and plentiful. Parking is adequate and convenient. It's hard to beat the location, no more than a 10-minute walk to the other end of "downtown" Lenox. All told we had a wonderful stay...

Spent a great weekend in the town of Lenox with very dear friends. The Rookwood was the perfect spot for all of us (12) to hang and reconnect. Amy the Inn Keep was extremely accommodating to our group. We were able to enjoy our time having happy hour and even dining @ the Inn one night. The Inn is clean...

Rookwood's proprietor Amy and the lovely ladies that work for her made us feel right at home. The Inn is located a block from downtown Lenox and very close to Tanglewood as well locations for hiking and biking with easy access also to other towns for antiquing. It is set back from the road with a nice porch with chairs...
