Great service by Cassandra and her staff made for a perfect stay in this beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, delightful Inn. They thought of every detail in the rooms and comfortable king size bed. Wonderful breakfast, sparkling clean pool, centrally located with free parking and walk to the water, restaurants and downtown. We definitely recommend it and plan to return next year!

Hotel's Favourite
My husband and I stayed at Harbor Light Inn for a night for our anniversary this July and had a wonderful time. We were a little nervous about staying at a hotel in the midst of a pandemic, but the measures they took to keep us safe and to keep all the areas clean were great. All rooms are cleaned prior to arrival with both normal cleaning and special ultraviolet lights and then are left empty for a certain amount of time. Common areas are cleaned regularly and we were given special blankets and towels for use in the pool area, despite the fact that we had the entire space to ourselves! The inn is exactly what we hoped it would be. It has such an old-timey feel, with beautiful and tasteful updates. Our room was huge and spacious with windows looking out on the surrounding streets and the bed was so comfortable. We didn't want to get up in the morning! The staff were also wonderful. They were more than willing to provide recommendations for exploring the area, were flexible with check-in and check-out times, and provided a delicious breakfast in the morning. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon!

Thank you so much for the glowing review! We have worked so hard to put all the new safety procedures in place and are thrilled when we get such positive feedback (such as yours). This has been a trying year for all and our guests deserve a safe sanctuary/ escape so we are very happy to hear we gave that to you. We truly look forward to hosting you again!

This is our third year at HLI and, as always, our stay was incredible. Thank you Cassandra, Caroline and Peter for being such lovely hosts. We had a couple of great laughs. I floated in the pool one afternoon listening to the birds and soaking up the sun while my son played nearby. Clean, terrific breakfast and the cutest bar in Marblehead. Location is perfect. We walked everywhere. Can’t wait to come back !

Charming Inn, so nicely decorated. The entire inn was extremely clean. We had room 34, third floor room with a huge deck attached, with a small table and chairs and 2 lounge chairs. The bed was very comfortable, the deck was amazing to have coffee or drinks on. Breakfast was very good. The pool in the back is like an oasis. Very relaxing and enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and always asking if you need anything. The on-site parking is great. You can walk to several restaurants , shops, and the water. Fantastic place, we can’t wait to return.

My husband and I used to have a home in the area and go back several times a year. There are not many places to stay in Marblehead, and this is the first time we had the pleasure of staying at the Harbor Light Inn. The property is in the center of town, so it’s within walking distance to everything. The built in pool and cabana is a little hidden oasis. The staff is wonderful and breakfast was delicious. We stayed in room #25, it has a king size bed with a separate sitting room and a huge bathroom. We really enjoyed our weekend away at the Harbor Light Inn. Tip: this is an older property, therefore no elevator and navigating the steps can be difficult for some people.
