Got away from Boston and have a relaxed and wonderful weekend in Shirakaba. Louise and Sadao are so hospitable!!! Welcomed by Louise's home-made cookies in the late Friday night. The house is very beautiful and has lots of Japanese decorations. The bed is so comfortable...More

Louise made me feel so very welcome, her breakfasts are outstanding, catering to all my needs. She makes the tastiest oatmeal cookies. The setting is idyllic, very quiet and relaxing. Couldn't have had a better time in the heart of the Berkshires
