When we arrived it was very early, but Patti let us keep our car in the back, so my son, and i can walk around. Our room was so clean, and the bathroom was a pretty pink. Our beds were a little hard, but the air from our windows made us sleep, Breakfast with fresh fruits was delicious. We felt...

Hi Gwynne, How nice of you to review us. I was glad things worked out for you and Abe to be able to sty here with us while touring colleges. Sorry if you felt the beds were a bit too hard. One is actually a temperpedic type of mattress so, I am surprised is, at least, was too hard. Happy...

What a lovely home away from home! Immaculate, sunlit and comfortable house in a fabulous location - cozy, nook-and-cranny neighborhood that's close to everything - with delightful hosts who make you feel like family. Jim and Patti are kind, caring and considerate. I highly recommend Park Lane.

I stayed at the Park Lane B&B for a week in January, and I can honestly say that not a day has gone by when I don't think fondly of Patti and Jim. I arrived in an unexpected snowstorm, without snow boots, and Patti rushed to loan me her own while Jim prepared dinner for me, knowing the restaurants in...

It was an unexpected delight to find such a wonderful place for this price in the Boston area. And with free onsite parking, no less! Patti and Jim could not have been more accommodating. They are also a great resource for restaurant recommendations and area attractions, some of which are in walking distance. Better book early, this place is a...

From the moment we arrived, we found the Pransky's to be pleasant, and very accommodating. They went out of their way to help us. Patti gave us a ride to downtown Newton and showed us several attractions and where to get on the T. Very clean, cheerful environment. A good energy filled breakfast every morning. Helpful with planning our excursions,...

Needed help for a few weeks stay and Patti and Jim were kind and considerate in accommodating us. Patti's knowledge of the area and willingness to work with us is appreciated by my entire family. They are both reliable and communicating with them directly was a worthwhile and efficient experience. We highly recommend the Park Lane!

Park Lane was excellent! Really made my stay in Newton affordable. The couple that runs the place, Patti and Jim, were wonderful and even allowed me to have needed gluten free items in their fridge. I would highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Newton.

Hi Coco,

I had no idea that your question and any others were posted and needed a response so, sorry I never got back to you!!!!

If it matters at all, yes, we are a little less than two miles from the main entrance to Boston College.

Hi Wendy,

I hope this gets to you. This is the first time we have had an inquiry by this means. We are 1.5 miles give or take from Oak Street. It's a five minute car drive but there is a public bus that goes right by there as well. We do have a room for you at $107.50 per night which includes our hearty continental breakfast (all kosher items), there is NO ROOM TAX and there is free off street parking for one car. We can welcome you even so late but the key is verbal communications for guidance from us.

Hope to see you here with us.

Patti
