My family and I stayed at the Oak Bluffs Inn during our trip to MV a few weeks ago. Bottom line Up Front: The Oak Bluffs Inn was simply an AMAZING place to stay – two thumbs up! The Deets: The Owners are Eric and Rhonda. A wonderful couple who were really welcoming and accommodating! Eric had a great sense of humor and made us feel at home instantly. There were a few times that we needed things during odd hours and Eric always made himself available. Eric and Rhonda went well above and beyond the normal scope of service which one would typically experience while travelling. The Inn is located right at the end of Circuit Ave in Oak Bluffs, so we could walk anywhere we wanted to be in town. Super convenient for dining, shopping, and getting a quick bit of exercise! When we first walked in, the smell of freshly baked cookies wafted through the lobby which just smelled like Home! It turns out that the cookies were a daily delicacy – and that tradition simply never got old! The bed was very comfortable and the amenities were all top notch. We had the penthouse suite – which you should *definitely* book! It has a balcony with chairs overlooking Circuit Ave. And despite the fact that the Inn has that cozy, historic building New England Bed and breakfast feel – there was a shockingly low level of noise from other rooms! We had a great deal of privacy! I lived on the Island for several years and there are plenty of places to stay – but there are very few that offer the price / value ratio of the Oak Bluffs Inn! Go for the cookies – stay for the hospitality!…

This was our first getaway in over ten years and we wanted to make it a success. It was also our first time on Martha's Vinyard and we planned for three nights after Labor Day. Even though we had one day of rain, the trip was perfect in every way. Oak Bluffs is one of three towns on the island which are built up for tourists and was our favorite of the three. The Oak Bluffs Inn is situated at the end of Circuit Street which puts it just outside the busy commercial area but near enough to walk to the frerry (even a slow walk with some rolling luggage), the shops and restaurants. You can even walk to a few beaches although to get to the nicer beaches you will want a car or bicycle. Oak Bluffs is located in between the other two large towns which are less than five miles away (easily accessible by bicycle). The Oak Bluffs Inn was ideally situated for our trip. The room we stayed in was a little bit smaller than we expected but was also very comfortable, clean and quiet. The bathroom was updated and bedding was excellent. The size of the room was adequate for a short stay but I would need a little more space for a longer stay. The common spaces in the Inn were also very comfortable and our host provided warm drinks and snacks throughout the day. We took advantage of this in the evenings and during our rain day. The Inn features chairs on the porch which are ideal for sitting and people-watching. Off street parking is conveniently provided right on the property. Breakfast was served, made to order, at 8am and our host was happy to provide us with non-dairy milk as we requested. The breakfast is not fancy but includes fresh fruit and warm sandwiches or waffles. Given the cost of eating out on the island an included breakfast is greatly appreciated. The proprietor of the Inn was generally available and we always felt welcome. Our stay at Martha's Vinyard was very pleasant and we will return. The island is not inexpensive, though. Expect to pay 20-30% more for meals and accomodations above what you would, normally. We visited just into the off-season so we didn't have to deal with the crowds. We will probably return in the future and perhaps do a day trip during the high season to see what that's all about.…

I had a lovely, relaxing time at Oaks Bluff Inn. As a woman solo traveler I felt comfortable and safe at the Inn and felt very welcome by Erik and Rhonda. They gave great recommendations on things to do and the best way to get around the island.

If you're wondering if you should stay here, the answer is yes, you should. Book it. We booked last second without reading reviews and got lucky. The house was nice and very accommodating, but what made the experience was the owner. Erik is one of those people who feel like you've been friends with for years, though you just met. He made our dinner reservations for us and afterward personally led us through local night life, then escorted us back and hung out and talked. It was personalized and connected, much unlike a hotel stay. The house porch was awesome. We ate breakfast out there as the sun burned off the fog. Go ahead. Book it.

This was our first time at Oak Bluffs Inn and we will definitely return. This lovely, clean and updated Victorian is located steps away from shopping, restaurants and nightlife. The Innkeepers are laid back, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the Island. Our room was small but very comfortable (remember, this is an old Victorian not the Marriott!) it was very clean with a comfortable queen bed and high end linens. The bathroom was stocked with everything you would need and had plush towels. Unlike other hotels, our room was serviced every day and towels were replaced daily! We were served a light breakfast of our choice daily; waffles, homemade egg sandwich or granola and fruit/yogurt. There is a snack room off the hallway and in the late afternoon fresh baked cookies appeared on the dining room table! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay on the island. Almost forgot to mention, you could walk from the ferry!…

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at the Oak Bluffs Inn. Erik is a terrific host who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I had a great time talking music and Vineyard history with him. When we couldn't get an Uber to take us to a wedding event, Erik volunteered to drive us all the way across the island to Chilmark. Highly recommended.

Since 2012, our visits to Martha's Vineyard have always included a stay at the Oak Bluffs Inn. From the moment you step foot on the porch, you are welcomed home! Erik and Rhonda have created such a wonderful place that as you chat with the other guests, one thing stands out...they all have been returning to the Oak Bluffs Inn year after year!

The last 2 years were very ruff, so this was a getaway to gather myself. I couldn't have picked a better place. The Inn was very clean and comfortable. Eric was engaging and made me feel right at home. I've never traveled alone, but will definitely do it again!

Stayed for 3 nights and this Inn is wonderful! A short easy walk from the ferry dock. Great location for walking all over Oak Bluffs. Eric is a super host and offered amazing custom breakfasts each morning (eggs, pancakes, waffles, any kind of bread, yogurt, coffee, teas, etc.). Snacks were available all day every day. Room was small but comfortable and quiet (there is a sound machine in each room). Huge front porch was nice for relaxing after a day of seeing the sights of Martha's Vineyard. Would definitely stay here again!

A great stay at the Oak Bluffs Inn. Erik is a very congenial host who makes his guests feel welcome and respected. He has a great sense of humour and goes out of his way to take care of his guests. The Inn is located in an ideal spot at the top of the main street with all its shops and some good restaurants. It is a few minutes walk from the ferry landing spot. Buses from Oak Bluffs to the other towns on Martha's Vineyard make travelling around the island easy. Altogether we had a very relaxing few days here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
