Great place. Not too crowded but full amenities. Had a great time fishing. Sunsets were gorgeous. Gotta grab a coffee ice cream at the main store. Rented a little boat for $10/hour which wasn't bad. Only complaint is that they don't let you pick it up before 8:30 am so if you want to get out and fish early, you're... More

This campground had good reviews and pretty good ratings. But once again, I just don't know where those ratings come from. They stated on the Good Sam Club site that they had paved roads and gravel sites. Just not so!! There was 1 paved road to the office and, other than that, the roads were dirt and the sites were... Great family campground. My family and I stayed here for the weekend. We had a great time, the staff was great, nice large sites with large rock fire pits. They had a "Western Weekend" that was a lot of fun. The chili cook-off was very nice. My husband and oldest son was invited to play horse shoes by some very... More

Good sized sites - tents are kept mostly in one area. Those sites are well sized with picnic tables, and though not overly private, decent nonetheless. Bathrooms could have used a bit more care as there are lots of people using them throughout the day and by day's end they were a little worse for wear.

My husband and I just returned from a week at this campground. We have a 25 foot travel camper and our site was 1B - we LOVED it - one of the best sites in the campground - it overlooks the "lake"(in our area the lake would be a large pond-lol) however this lake is perfect for this campground -... This is a great park. One of our favorite we have hit so far. It's easy to get to train if you wish to go into Boston. We will definitely come back. Our kids are older, but they would have loved the beach and play area when they were younger. Plymouth is a great town with lots to do.

My husband and I with our 8 yo old son went to pinewood lodge campground this past week to enjoy the outdoors. We had a great time fishing, kayaking and enjoying the beach. However we soon found out that this campground allows drinking and loud music that quickly ruined our peace and quite camping experience. There is a huge horseshoe... More

This was a great campground to visit. We stayed over July 4th weekend and despite how many people were there, it did not feel overly crowded. Our tent site was large enough to accomodate two tents with plenty of room. The bathrooms were clean and we never had to wait to use one. The showers were also clean, and although... More

Just had another great July 4th weekend at pinewood lodge! Started off the trip ruff when our camper broke and where unable to use it for our trip. My mom was nice enough to let us stay with her so we could still go.I was disappointed in the way the camp ground handled our unfortunate event but also understand rules... More

Quiet, friendly, clean. Lots of activities for the kids. Lovely beach. On holiday weekends overcrowded and groups traveling together take over all the amenities, causing problems for the regulars. Beautiful on site fire pits.
