I had booked a site months in advance, as as requested, had read all of of the terms and conditions during the booking process. After a very long drive, we arrived, expectant, only to be told that there were no boats allowed in the park, as there were not room on the sites. The only option, we were told, would...

When looking for affordable accommodations near Provincetown, Dunes Edge came up as a good option. After doing my initial research I was sold. The plus side about Dunes Edge is it's location to Provincetown. It's a quick 10-15 minute walk to the heart of the action. It's also a great location for cyclists. However, the location also has its negative...

Dune's Edge is terrific alternative to expensive hotels of Truro and Ptown, which are always filled for peak weekends. Easy access to town with cab, bus and walk options. Campground is small but perfectly nice and well-maintained. Staff is great. Showers and bathrooms are clean. No, it's not a big, deep-woods camping experience, but Dune's Edge is fun way for...

From driving around the campsite the average crowd is older, with no kids and looking to not be bother by noise. After 10pm there is no noise allowed, including carrying a conversation because the campsites are so close to each other. We were a large group of 20 with kids and teens and can imagine trying to tell them to...

We stayed here for two nights in late June, 2015. We were not sure about a private campground but we were pleasantly surprised. The sites were close together but not too tight. The restrooms and showers were clean and the laundry facilities worked well and were relatively cheap. We got ice and snacks at the camp store for much cheaper...

No frills, but our family of four (w an 8 and 5 year old) thought this campground was just fine. We had a tent. Would like more spacing bw sites but I don't foresee them fixing this. Latrines okay, showers (bring quarters!) fine, NO CAMPFIRES (bummer! No s'mores!).

We stayed here and the site we had was so small and packed up against another site. The bathrooms are awful, the toilets are outside, spidery, and just gross. The doors are so short you can almost see the knees of the people sitting on the toilets. There is a guy driving around on a golf cart constantly checking on...

We liked this place a lot. It was out in the woods but only minutes to Provincetown - even on foot. The only thing that could be better would be a sidewalk from the entrance up to the light where you cross the busy highway to get to Provincetown. It's also near a bunch of great bike paths. A sidewalk...

Our group of 10 took over 3 sites in our trip mid-September. The large sites were big enough to fit one of our 8-person tents. It might be hard to drive around when the campground is busier in the summer months, but in the shoulder season, this was not a problem. Because it was the shoulder season, however, the eastern...

As many people have said, the campsites at Dune's Edge are very close together, and sounds carry well here. So if you like to carouse past 9:00, or if you have kids who are noisy, this is probably not the best place for you. But for people who don't make a lot of noise and who like to retire early,...
