In August I stayed again at my most favorite place in Rockport, MA. I have stayed at Peg Leg Inn in Rockport for 44 years! It just can't be beat. The staff is the best, the inn so quaint and lovely, and the view can't be beat. I sit on the porch overlooking the sea and life is sooooo good!...

Glad we chose Rockport over Gloucester and Peg Leg over other alternatives. Knowledgeable and accommodating hosts gave full advance disclosure of the challenging stairway to the top (best) room. The climb was good for us. We had people to meet for breakfast elsewhere, so weren't whining the morning we had fresh fruit as a starter. Terrific view from the little...

Stayed at the peg leg for 3 nights. Was very nice. Friendly staff, Clean rooms and excellent location. Did not give it 5 stars because the place needs a little updating. Besides that it's a wonderful place

the inn keeper is a sweetheart and the staff are just as nice. beautiful, quaint, and most importantly CLEAN inn. It had a sense of old fashion charm. the porch view of the beach is to die for regardless of what time of the day. can relax in the morning and catch the sunrise or relax at night and enjoy...

Very nice B&B, perfect location across street from beach and in the heart of Rockport. Everything is in walking distance. Rooms are comfortable and management accommodating. Breakfast is simple continental, could add more hot foods, but if you want a big breakfast, nice place next door. WiFi is very spotty, depends on what room you're in if you get signal...

I was about to stay further out of town, and found Peg Leg on TripAdvisor. Much less expensive for this time than Rockport Inn and Suites (Also a nice place, to be sure). Not sure who some of the reviewers here met, but the staff we met were always very nice and helpful. We took Mike up on several recommendations...

It was late and we were tired when we found and checked into the Peg Leg. The price ($140 plus tax) was double the value -- at least as I assess it. The room was quite dated but functional. The bed OK but not great. The towels were always damp and we were not sure the dirty ones were replaced,...

View can't be beat - you will sleep hearing the waves and feel the chill breeze! Fair prices, very comfy and spacious room! Location is perfect, walking distance to all little sea food restaurants and shops. We stayed one night at a fancier option near by the cliffs and I wish we would have stayed all weekend at the Peg...

This was the worst experience we've ever had with anyone in the hospitality business. "Terrible" doesn't begin to describe it. What was supposed to be a 50th anniversary stay (we honeymooned there in October 1964) never made it past the inn's lobby, this time. At the check-in desk, the inebriated owner began swearing and carrying on about "not needing our...

The building looked beautiful, the location was ideal. But that is it - we did not get to stay - The manager left a lot to be desired. Even though we made reservations five days in advance, he said he did not have our names. After a very uncomfortable discussion with manager and him telling us and another couple to...
