We stayed here for two nights while in the area for a graduation. The experience was superb. First, the inn itself was New England at its best. Our room was very nicely decorated (I can't recall the name) and spacious with a small porch/balcony just...More
This was the last stop on our tour of New England and it was a real gem. Jan and Charlie are lovely people who clearly enjoy having people stay with them! We booked a room with a small balcony and it was great to sit...More
Our stay at the 1750 Inn at Sandwich Center was our base for our first visit to Cape Cod and we’re very glad we stayed. Sandwich is a pretty town situated at the “entrance” to the Cape, and the 1750 Inn is perfectly situated within...More

Gracious hospitality, lovely inn and great location. Ten stars, if I could!

We have 4 nice beaches in Sandwich. The closest is about a one-mile walk through the village to the Sandwich Boardwalk. The Boardwalk will take you over to the dunes and Cape Cod Bay. There is another small beach about a mile and a half. Four miles away is East Sandwich Beach and about six miles away is Sandy Neck Beach. Our beaches are on Cape Cod Bay and tend to be more rocky that the ocean beaches on the south side of Cape Cod. Hope this is helpful.
