This place epitomizes what I want when looking to get away from the city to get closer to nature and reset. The ownership and staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly. Turndown service was efficient, the common areas were welcoming, and the view is spectacular. The 'barn' is large enough to handle large groups of people for anything from a small...

A magical place with rustic charm, offers a private setting ideal for a weekend retreat or an easy get away. The space for the retreat was a very cool barn structure with beautiful windows showing the natural landscape. It was a nice combination of rustic but well-constructed and modernized with a lot of charming touches. There was always water and...

We had an amazing experience at our group retreat this passed weekend. The rooms were neat, and clean. The food was excellent and the settings - the lodge for breakfast, restaurant for lunch/dinner were so comfortable and country cozy that I didn't want to leave. There's tons of hiking surrounding the lodge and a short 30 minute hike lead us...

I spent an amazing weekend up at Race Brook in December. I was part of a large group and we collectively had an amazing experience. The rooms, the hiking, the food...everything was amazing. Looking forward to the next retreat I get to take there.

First time staying here and am looking forward to going back. All the people in the lodge and restaurant next door, from the owner on down, were kind and accommodating. We stayed in a cabin on the property and it was comfortable

Stayed here in the summer on the way to drop off my kids for summer camp. Loved the property with a swimming pool, in room (window) air conditioner, and lovely property. Its very rustic and our room wasn't anything to write home about, it could definitely use a bit of updating, especially the bathroom. We stayed with a group of...

This is a perfect spot to get away from the city and enjoy clean air and verdant nature. The rooms have a cozy rustic feel to them without being pretentious, and they were nice and warm (which was one of my concerns for winter). The vibe in the common area of the lodge in the evening was welcoming with everyone...

This is my 5th time back at Race Brook Lodge. Each time I fall in love more. The nature, accommodation and staff are exceptional. If I ever get married, this place would be high on my list. It's so peaceful and warms my heart.

I make an annual birthday present to myself of a road trip and a B&B. When I first arrived at Race Brook Lodge, I was somewhat taken aback, as the premises and interiors weren't ornate or opulent, as are most B&Bs. I initially thought that perhaps I'd stay at another inn the following night, however by the end of the...

I was over-the-moon thrilled with the Race Brook Lodge. My room was charming, spotless, private, and simply but thoughtfully furnished; my concerns about "being cold" in the Berkshires assuaged by their toasty bed linens; responsive thermostat; and the warmth of folks sharing in their outrageous cornucopia of a free breakfast. This lodge is perfect for sole travelers, looking for something...
