Talk about a change! The Red Lion Inn will take you back to that old time feeling. We've been around and this has to be the best yet. As soon as you walk in the door you smell the old fireplace burning away and that smell is all around the Inn. The decor, the rooms, the staff and even Simon...

We are delighted to hear that you have already booked your next stay! We do have a Fitness Room located in our guesthouse called the O’Brien House, which is a very short walk from the Main Inn building. Any of the Front Desk staff would be happy to provide our guests with the pass code for entry, and of course...

The inn is one I have enjoyed for many, many years. This stay was with a good friend who also enjoys country inns and had never stayed here. The twin bedded room was perfect for us, with a cozy sitting area. The only change I was concerned with was the restaurant. The menu was new, but it took forever to...

As I've said before, if a Hotel or restaurant maintains its quality over many years it deserves a new review. This is surely the case with the iconic Red Lion Inn. My previous review 2 years ago was quite detailed, so no need for length It is still a charm to sit on the huge porch with the grownups and...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a second review! We have many guests that come year after year, and some families that have been coming for generations. We are so pleased to hear that The Red Lion Inn has only improved with time.

I don't really feel like a senior, but I AM 63 and retired. Spent an overnight with my high school pal, also 63, and we had a great time. I have been to the Red Lion many times before, as has she. Our room was adorable...twin beds, across the hall from the bathroom, lots of flowered wallpaper and chintz. The...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! One of the room types that we offer here in the Main Inn building is called our Bed & Breakfast rooms, which have either two single beds or one full-sized bed and a shared bath in the hallway, & they come with a continental breakfast the next morning. We look...

I love a place where everyone's relaxed and you can grab a drink on the huge front porch and just take in the whole experience. The Red Lion Inn has it all from excellent service to old world charm without skimping on today's amenities. It started at check in when we were upgraded to a suite because of an error...

The word charming doesn't begin to describe this quintessential New England inn. Antique furniture and bric-a-brac fill every corner with a quirky, homey, granny style that is both welcoming and sometimes a little creepy! I loved it - as have other guests for generations- but you have to like that sort of thing. If antiques, winding hallways and rolling floors...

Very quaint dining room, fresh flowers, bread basket and lovely lunch- quche and Cobb Salad. Walk to very back of restaurant- group dining room. This is the table Norman Rockwell used in his infamous Thanksgiving Dinner painting. In the room is a photo of the local residents posing around the table for Norman to paint.

We chose to stay at this inn because of all the positive reviews from Tripadvisor and we were very glad we made this choice. I wanted to stay in the main inn, as opposed to the various guest houses, and we had a wonderful room on the second floor. The guest houses have a small number of rooms in each...

We stayed here one night. The hotel staff was very friendly. There is a lovely porch to hang out on in the front part of the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.
