The good stuff: It is cheap, clean, close to Cedar Street Grille, the best place to eat in Sturbridge and close enough to Brimfield to meet our needs. The problems: Internet was slow and flakey, couldn't stream a video and even web pages loaded very slowly. The rooms do have nice flat screen TVs but the TV remotes are no... More

My daughter, grandson and I had to make a trip to Maine. We had been on the road for so many hours and were exhausted. We found this place and decided to try it out. We were amazed! The room was so much bigger than we expected. There was a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave in the room. I was... More

The setting is beautiful! The room was very clean, and much larger than I thought it would be. Coffee maker, mini fridge, hair dryer, and microwave included. It was very quiet. The breakfast is simple, but there is plenty of it. I will come back next time I'm in the area!

We chose the Econo Lodge because of location, price and availability. The check in process was okay. Jay could not get my Choice Rewards card to work and told me I would have to call. We stayed at four other Choice properties on our trip through New England and no one else had a problem. Room was clean. Using the... More

We had a king bed with a pullout single. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. But there was no bedding for pullout. We were told no one ever uses pullout sofas. The two sheets that were finally given did not stay on pullout. It was uncomfortable for my family member. Check in was not good. We specified late check in.... More

The staff were friendly, the room was nice and clean and the hotel is near many shops and restaurants. It is nearly across the street from the "old Sturbridge village". I will definitely stay again if I'm in the area. The entrance to the hotel is a little tricky, but is very open once you get up the driveway.

First time staying here, stayed from Friday to Sunday since we were attending the big Rockabilly/Vintage weekender at the Sturbridge Host Hotel. Checked in in the late afternoon and the owner was very polite. We booked a deluxe king non smoking and it was great! Up to date, clean, comfy bed, has AC, good heating, large fridge, microwave... The room itself was big! I had a king size bed, a couch, a desk, minifridge, microwave. I wasn't in the room that long and didn't do much more than eat, watch tv, and sleep.
