Every year (for more than 15 years)we go to the Brimfield Antiques Show and every year we have dinner at the Publick House! Best lobster macaroni and cheese you'll ever have (get the small size because it's so filling) and I ALWAYS stuff myself with the Thanksgiving turkey dinner. Last time I tried the smaller (sandwich) portion - it was...

Cost was high for the condition of the rooms. $170 for a night, $30 more than quoted. Furniture is old and floors stained. Rooms are a decent size but bathroom is small and water temperature is very difficult to adjust. I probably would not stay here again.

Went there for a wedding and found this place a charming venue where staff pays attention to detail. One person in our party had a food allergy that we had alerted them to beforehand- they went above and beyond to identify the person, served him separately and followed up to make sure that everything was ok. The staff was very...

Stayed here with our 2 small children (3 & 5 years old). The room was big and clean and we fitted wery well in to the two twin beds in the room. Decor of the room is interesting, different from usual but suites the atmosphere of the entire place. Basic good stay and good value for the money. We bought...

Lunch today was a bit disappointing as my companion's potatoes and my squash were just lukewarm. Our meals came out amazingly fast for food to be less than hot. The rolls were dry- as if day old. Our turkey meat was good, as was service. This was the first day of all new furniture and rugs, so maybe they were...

We spent new years eve night here, at the Chamberlain house suite. AWSOME !!! the suite was very, clean, bright and cheery, with a lovely porch with a view. The king size bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The breakfast the next morning was scrumptious, compete with everything from A to Z, that you could possible want, and service was friendly and...

We stayed in the Country Motor Lodge/Inn. Last minute reservation from highway as we traveled for holidays. Price was great, accommodations were adequate. Clean and appropriately appointed and stocked. Just old and tired (I wouldn't walk on the carpet in bare feet) but not uncomfortable. The Publick House itself is much more pleasant. I can't speak for the rooms but...

I was disappointed to find that the rooms are in separate dwellings in a 2 story "motel-like" setting . The room was clean, but very dated. It was difficult to operate the heat/ac system, but it did work well after figuring it out. The cable was unplugged, but with the help via phone from the front desk it was resolved....

Our room was in the lodge behind the main building. We were disappointed that the room was not as nice as when we stayed in the suite in the main part of the inn. It was like staying in a cheap motel. There wasn't a coffee maker in the room, the decor was drab and dated, the bathroom was cold...
