What a beautiful job Robert & Lorraine have done with this property, it is a credit to them. Flinders Island is such a beautiful part of the world we will definitely be back, we caught the boat out of Bridport which was a lovely journey past Waterhouse Island would highly recommend it. The mutton birds were sensational. Dale

We spent 4 days here for my fathers birthday with the most wonderful hosts in Rob and Lorraine and all of the wonderful animals on this farm. The accommodation is very well kept and maintained with every detail imaginable taken care of. The location, views and surrounds on this property are just stunning. I don't think I have ever been... We were lucky enough to stay at Partridge Farm for a week staying in the Retreat. This was a wonderful week of not only exploring a beautiful island but enjoying the unique and very special accommodation, the peace and the view. Rob and Lorraine have built three cottages and ours was perfect for the two of us. The Retreat was... More

There is nothing quite like Flinders Island, and absolutely nothing like Partridge Farm. It is magical, as others have noted before me. This makes it hard to encapsulate in a few words. The units are clean and spacious with a few added wrinkles you would never have thought of - ours had a very private outdoor bath with a view... More

Rob and Lorraine are ideal hosts. Flinders Island was more spectacular than I hoped or dreamed. I am glad I decided to include it in my Tasmanian get away because it gave me my favourite memories, provided the most picturesque landscapes. I loved the abundance of native fauna on the island. Memories are framed by people and Rob and Lorraine... More

We stayed at Partridge Farm for three nights in one of the three cottages [all self built]. This is not quite the same as a B&B where you share meals, so if you like a little privacy but with meals provided (if you choose), this is a good in-between. There are excellent views from Partridge Farm across their deer farm... More

i was quite unprepared for the spiritual beauty of this extraordinary island and even less so for the infectious welcome put on by Rob and Lorraine (plus extended family and animals!) The views from the huge, warm cottages are sublime, witih scarlet robins entertaining us on the deck. Dinner around the fire (with home made everything) was huge fun, and... More
