This was the second time we stayed at Green Harbor with our family. Staff make every effort to make this an enjoyable stay for families. Clean pool, plenty of towels, chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Staff seem happy to see you and take their time with you. My five year old grandson absolutely loved the animal and sea shell programs. They even help you navigate the ins and outs of reserving your next year’s vacation. It’s a very down to earth traditional vacation experience. Not glitzy or perfect but practical and homey.
We had another great relaxing vacation at the Green Harbor Resort. Luckily the weather was almost perfect unlike last year when it was cool and drizzly. As usual everything was clean and the staff are all friendly. The ocean water was beautiful - looked cleaner than it had in years past. No seaweed! One suggestion though is about the beach chairs - all were gone before noon on a beautiful hot sunny day. - is to either bring your own or get up real early and go down and reserve your own with a towel. Many generational families go to Green Harbor so they may use up 6 - 8 chairs just for one family. Next year I will bring my own. This is a great place for kids, parents & grandparents which there are a lot of. So nice to see. Everyone is friendly. I cant wait to go back next year!…
Green Harbor is a small, peaceful and friendly family resort in West Yarmouth, MA. It's part of the Red Jacket Resort group. There are efficiency Cape-Cod style units and raised-ranch duplexes, as well as other types of accommodations for larger families. Public areas are clean and well-tended, with beautiful views of Lewis Bay from the lawns surrounding the property. A smallish but lovely beach is part of the resort, and the water was perfect for swims from dawn to dusk. We stayed in a 2-person cottage unit that was fine for our needs, with a kitchen, full bath, couch and king bed. There was also a small deck with chairs, a picnic table and a grill outside. The staff was very friendly and took care of our questions and requests promptly. Our only constructive comment is that the bed wasn't supportive enough and not as comfortable as we would have liked. Offering adjustable beds (such as Sleep Numbers) would be fantastic. Otherwise we had a great time and recommend Green Harbor to anyone who wants a relaxing vacation in a perfect Mid-Cape location.…
We love the Green Harbor, we’ve been staying here for years. We run into lots of guests who, just like us, keep returning. This summer the resort was back to normal with daily housekeeping and open pool. They have bikes, mini golf, canoes, plenty to do. Staff is friendly and responsive, location is key. Thanks for another great vaca full of wonderful memories!!!
My husband and I had a mid-week stay at Green Harbor Resort in mid-September, 2020. He says I am "Covid OCD" and if I say I felt safe, then it was! The room and all the grounds were immaculate. When entering your room, you have to break a seal that says the room has been sanitized. They even took the precaution of removing coffee makers from the rooms since a person would have to touch all its parts to make coffee. Instead, fresh hot coffee was available in the office starting at 8 am. We had fun playing miniature golf and walking at the private beach. We saw a seal family playing in the inlet. We had lunch at the picnic table outside our unit and enjoyed a glass of wine while reading i the chair outside our unit facing the inlet. It was so wonderful to get away for a few days and I would highly recommend Green Harbor Resort. It was also only a 4 hour drive from our home in Westchester County in NY.…
