A friend and I were travelling from Ohio to Mass. by motorcycle and broke down in Rhode Island. The local Harley dealership was able to get us going but it set us back several hours. We called the motel and asked for a refund because we had purchased travel insurance through Expedia and they refused. We then told them we would be late and not arrive until around 11:30pm. They said that was fine. We arrived at 11:30, called the front desk and the guy told us we did not have a reservation, even though it was confirmed earlier that day. He then hung up on us! We could see him through the window so I knocked on the glass and he walked away. We called back and we could hear the phone ringing but no one answered. We had to go searching for a motel and ended up at a Hampton for $400. When we confronted the man the next day he lied about the whole thing saying his cell phone dropped the call even though we say him on a landline. He then said he was scared, and then his excuse was his computers were down, although we could see them up through the window. He is a horrible front desk person and should be fired.

The hotel was great for the price, if you are like me and my wife we didn’t spend very much time in the room to begin with but it was very clean the staff was very friendly. The hotel is no more than 5 minutes from the main strip. Definitely could use some work but I would visit again with no questions

We stayed at the Cape Sands for 4 nights in September. Our room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the staff was outstanding. They were the most accommodating and friendly staff we have ever encountered at a hotel. We spent time both in the room and playing corn hole by their fire pit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Stay here worry free. Everything exceeded our expectations. Staff was tremendous, made us feel at home. Very clean, quality property. Also a very convenient location. We had over 20 people staying in our group and we all had similar comments!
