Eleanor and Martin were wonderful hosts - warm, caring, friendly, no rush. Breakfast was delicious and it was fun to sit around the toasty woodstove in the kitchen and chat with the hosts and the other guests. Seemed like the 1950s!

Eleanor is a warm and thoughtful host. She also happens to do most of the baking for the local farmer's market, so her breakfasts are outstanding. Not to mention that they serve their own maple syrup, homemade jam, and I believe their dairy comes from their own cows who live in a field nearby. The building is old and charming,...

My daughter and I decided to take a mother-daughter weekend, and we chose Williamsburg for it was a midway point for us. We chose the twin bed room and were charmed by the farmhouse ambiance. Eleanor and Martin were warm and friendly and the perfect hosts. Our breakfast was sumptuous, and chats with them were truly enjoyable. We were fortunate...

My grown daughter and I were delighted by our stay here. Our hostess, Eleanor, could not have been more gracious or welcoming, and she cooked and served up a huge, delicious breakfast to order both mornings we were here. The house itself is quite old and charming, with many original features, especially the beautiful wide-planked floor upstairs . Extremely quiet,...

Friend and I stayed in the twin bedroom while on an autumn tour of MA. Loved the room and the location of the place. The owners were wonderfully friendly to us and the breakfasts were spectacular! Plus the price is the best you can find. We're going back again this year just for Twin Maples.

My husband and I stayed at the Twin Maples Bed & Breakfast for two nights and had a lovely time. The house is filled with warmth and character and the surroundings are spectacular. The breakfast--especially the blueberry pancakes--was sublime. I imagine that a stay here during autumn would be wonderful. --CK, Boulder, CO

I was attending a seminar at Smith College and was looking something else than the usual hotel. i found this place and had a great stay. First I arrived from my previous destination after midnight and the owner Eleanor was there waiting for me. The house is more than 200 years old and the three rooms are nicely decorated. The...

“Choice of 3 rooms - small or large with double beds, or one room with two single beds. All very homey. None ensuite so you all share the same bathroom.”

“All the rooms are nicely furnished, but the twin room is right next to the bathroom, and you can hear the bathroom fan when it is on, so if you are sensitive to noise you might not like that. On the other hand, this room is separated from the the other rooms, so you won't get noise from your neighbors.”
