There were 3 generations of us, from 3 to 72, and the management had recommended the perfect family-size room for us with a cot and plenty of floor space for a toddler travel bed. Office staff was most helpful with recommendations of area activities, ferry tickets, directions, and local history. We parked the car and walked everywhere, except to lighthouse....

We ONLY stayed there because it was the only place available to catch an 8am ferry and we live 9 hours away. The front manager was NOT friendly at all and barely cracked a smile. The motel is old, outdated but bathrooms seem newer. There is a pool. It was very over-priced ($200 a night -summer rate) I guess they...

Clean, cozy Motor Inn reminiscent of fun family vacations of the past. Convenient to the Martha's Vineyard ferry. It is a short walk to the Steamship Authority, although pulling luggage was made a little difficult by the narrow sidewalks. Very friendly staff. Nice stay!

Great place to stay! The manager was so welcoming and helpful to three tired travelers. She gave us advice on what restaurants were open - it was off season and severalwell kept were closed-and even offered to pick us up after we had dinner! Close to the ferry for Martha's Vineyard and Wood's Hole is interesting to visit also. Older...

This delightful little inn has everything my family needed for a short stay. The room was immaculate, the beds comfortable, and we enjoyed the strong, reliable wi-fi. An in-room coffee maker was provided for that all-important first cup in the morning. The motel is within easy walking distance to the center of Woods Hole. The entrance is on a blind...

We had a great experience here! We only stayed one night because it was last minute but were treated wonderfully by Sandy (the manager). She gave us a lower rate than hotels.com when we called directly, and gave us great suggestions for places to eat and things to do, even using a map to show us where to go in...

We were catching the ferry to Martha's Vineyard the next day at 7am and needed a place to stay. Everything around here is very expensive, but this was a nice motel to stay at. The location was great a 7 min walk into town, the rooms were clean and the staff friendly. I was able to book online and check-in...

Highly recommend this well-kept, conveniently located Woods Hole icon. Walked everywhere, including Vineyard ferry, aquarium, beach, bike path, and yummy food. Thank the well-informed staff for their tips and discount coupons. Enjoyed cocktails poolside in the evening as well.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Sleepy Hollow is a classic motor inn providing affordable accommodations in historic Woods Hole Village. Innkeeper/owner Sandee Parmelee spent years working at first class B&Bs before acquiring the Sleepy Hollow. Her experience is reflected in the effort that goes into providing clean, well-maintained rooms. The ferry to Martha's Vineyard, beaches, aquarium, museums, restaurants, and other attractions are within easy walking distance. We're also a great starting point for trips to other Cape Cod destinations. ... more   less
