Stayed here while visiting family that lives in town. Checked in but did not go directly to room. Huge mistake!! Got back to hotel around 10:30pm and office was closed. Room smelled horrible, like old cigarette smoke. DVD player was broken and the only furniture in the room other than the bed were 2 patio chairs. I know it's a...

Nice, clean, comfortable room. As with many older rooms it was challenging to find accessible outlets for charging the phones and running the CPAP. Service was a little "brusque" but that's part of the charm of staying in a small town. Got the job done well, we'd stay again if we're in the area.

We stayed here with friends for a little color tour getaway and to check out the pubs in Boyne City. The rooms were extremely clean, although a little on the small side. But plenty big enough for a stay-over. The beds and pillows were great, and the popcorn and mints were a nice little touch. The man at the front...

A hidden gem in Boyne City. Was not expecting much, but instead found a reasonable, clean, place in a very convenient location. Only 2 blocks from the bay on Lake Charlevoix. Owner is a nice guy who has supplied the rooms with refrigerators and microwaves. Also has dvd players in rooms and dvds to borrow.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed your recent motel stay. Today, as I write this response, our staff is busy replacing all of our 27" Sony TVs with 40" HD TVs. At the same time we are also upgrading our Charter Business Internet speed from 60 mbs to 100 mbs. All 19 rooms will now have free wireless true High Speed...

Took my wife and infant son up to Boyne City to visit Lake Charlevoix. The city is very quaint and friendly. The shops and restaurants were great and they had plenty to do on the water. We had a wonderful time! The motel was decorated nicely and the lawns were manicured beautifully. It is a little old but renovated nicely....

Really, i have humble expectations because of my interest in saving travel dollars for sightseeing and dining. This 'non-smoking' room had a pervasive smell as though someone were trying to cover up previous smokers -- and there was a burn in the blanket on my bed, so... Not really happy. Little bag of popcorn was a nice touch.

Believe me, as the owner, I was very upset to see your two star review. Our motel has a strict no smoking in the room policy and a strict no pets policy. We do allow smokers to smoke outside their rooms on our comfortable patio chairs and are going to put up signage that asks smokers to shut their door...

Clean comfortable and efficient great prices for our weekend in Boyne City. Bathrooms were clean towels and sheets smelled fresh. Comfortable beds and pilows. Quiet area. Would definitely stay again on our future visits.

We loved our stay. Clean rooms, great manager, wonderful welcome, beds very comfortable, wonderful shower, in walking distance to downtown and the beach. It has all the amenities that you would find at a Comfort Inn or other such hotel. We look forward to a return trip in the near future.

Stayed here for one night and found it to be clean and comfortable. Room contained a small refrigerator and a microwave. The room was small but nice, we had two double beds. It is a great location, one block off the main street and just a few miles from Boyne Mountain ski resort. There was coffee in the office in...

It's neat and tidy and offers great access to pubs and restaurants in Boyne. However it's twice as expensive as similar standard motels I've slept in (and you can only book through their third-party website that takes extra comission). Place is quiet and off the main road.

Thank you for describing our motel so nicely (except for the three star rating). We pride ourselves in offering clean and tidy rooms wiith brand new comfortable beds. Unlike most motels, we are less than four blocks walking distance to 13 Boyne City restaurants and pubs, yet our rooms are extremely quiet like you said. You can book a motel...
