I was a first time guest at Boyne. We chose this location due to the amenities, variety of skiing terrain and family atmosphere. This review covers 12/28 - 1/1. The property was crowded due to the holiday season but this was to be expected. Also, the room rates were high relative to the value, but again this is to be...

My husband and I went to the Mountain Grand Lodge and Spa for a ski trip in December 2016. The staff were extremely friendly at the check-in and they were generous with a military discount! We were so happy. The lobby area was beautifully decorated with a Christmas village and holiday décor. It looked really lovely and gave a home-like...

This was our first stay at the Grand Lodge. In the past, we stayed at the condos operated by BlueGreen. We got a great deal for the weekend, and we could not pass up the opportunity to stay at the Lodge. It was a wonderful weekend. Check-in: You can check-in at 5pm. We got there a few minutes past five...

We chose this location for daily road trips. Since our brother-in-law is a Michigan native, he drove us from Grand Rapids, Paradise, Harbor Springs, Holland, Charlevoix, Fish Town, Traverse City, all through the UP and to Mackinac Island. Daily trips took us to Sleeping Bear Dunes, the Gerald R Ford Museum (a must), the Tunnel of Trees, White Fish Point...

I was here for a conference and it was my first time here. I have traveled all over Michigan and have stayed at resorts such as this one. It is not like me to "not want to leave." Usually I miss my excellent bed and bedding, and for this reason I am surprised to say this. The bed itself was...

We stayed here for a conference. The suite was ok. The beds weren't terribly comfortable and the set up was kind of odd with two bedrooms upstairs, but only one bathroom connected to one of the bedrooms so it was awkward for coworkers sharing the suite. One of us chose to use the downstairs bathroom as the counter space was...

We had a conference here, room was nice. Quaint ski chalet feel. Great service was very friendly, was clean and have many options right there for meals and activities. Civic center was good for meetings with rooms for large or small groups. Walkways and stairs in civic center are rough so high heals are not so great an idea.

We were there last weekend. It's in a beautiful setting. The hotel is pretty and the staff were very nice and helpful during the entire stay. The room had good points and not so good points. We had a beautiful secluded view and a nice patio, The furnishings can only be described as "Alpine Kitch" which is not really my...

First things first. If you read any of my other reviews. I am always positive and upbeat a high percentage of the time. I got back this past Sunday from a family vacation in Boyne and have never been more disappointed in accommodations as I was with this resort. While the decor of the room is earthy and has a...

Dear GreggG_11, Thank you for being our guest at Boyne Mountain Resort recently. I am sorry to hear that there was an issue with the bathroom facilities and the dampness in your room. I have reviewed your comments with most of our front desk team and I have been unable to determine which guest you are. While we have been...

We were in the Boyne area for a time share presentation. The Blue-Green company put us up in the Mountain Grand for 4 nights for attending their presentation. The rooms are decent sized with a bed and a sleeper sofa. They claim that it's a queen sized bed, but I beg to differ. Its a long full bed, and we...
