This was the most beautiful vacation we have ever taken! I would highly recommend staying with pines of paradise! So close to mackinaw city with plenty of activities and plenty of activities to do on site. Boats, kayaks, paddle boats and beach to play on when just relaxing on site. We loved it here and are planning to come ever... More

We stayed here for the first time around Labor Day 2013. My mother in law found this gem by accident. We are so glad she did. Eight (including a 1 and 10 year old) of us stayed in their largest cabin, and it worked out really great. The bedrooms were big, and the beds and bedding were really comfortable. Everything... We stayed at this resort with our daughter and her husband and our little 3 year old grand daughter August 2012. It was the perfect choice for us. Our grand daughter played for hours upon hours in the huge safe yard on all the children's ride toys, swing set, and play house. There was a big deck with comfortable furniture... More

We enjoyed out stay at Pines of Paradise greatly!!! The owners were very sweet! Our cottage was perfect! Little but cozy and we were very relaxed there. Lots to do outside for adults and kids. Little drive into the city but we didnt mind because we liked the quietness of it :) we were very pleased!!

We've been there twice already and had a very good time. The cabins are cozy, the surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very inviting. There is a bonfire pit, gas and charcoal grills, you can go fishing on the lake there, and watch all the stars at night, it is just pure Michigan. The nearest (bigger) grocery store is about 10... We rented out 7 of the 8 cabins for a family reunion. It's a great little place for kids, not too big so that you can't find your kids, nice playground on site. There is a beach on site as well. The cabins are made for 4-5 people, so if you have a big family it will be tight, and... More

There are so many great things to say about this cozy resort that I don't know where to begin. From the host/owners, who were so gracious and helpful, to the spotless, cozy cabin and the clear blue lake, we couldn't have been happier. It is close to a fantastic golf course, and just minutes from Mackinaw City. We didn't have... More

“Their biggest cabin, cabin 7, sleeps 9, however, 3 beds are twins, and they're in the loft above, which means, you have to access it via a ladder (not stairs). Keep this in mind when traveling with older people.”
