The campgrounds are quite nice. it is quite clean and well maintained.Having stayed there many times (try like every year) of my life thus far, the west campgrounds are much nicer than the east. There are more trees, creating more privacy. If you are looking for someplace quieter, try staying during a time when there aren't as many people. 4th...

We stayed in a tent in the camp grounds. It's just a short walk to the Fort. The WiFi was very slow, and no phone service. Walked over for a evening demonstration of 1800 military life and rifle edicate. The young man who marched was very serious about his work and explaining the facts of the 1800's.

Toured the UP on my motorcycle and stayed 3 nights here. The campground is great and the Fort tour is a must see. The surrounding area is great for moto riding lots of coast line roads. Some nice little restaurants and a general store nearby for whatever you need.

Totally awesome place to camp. The park is well kept and clean!!!Driving Hwy 26 is a must from Eagle river to Copper harbor. Brockway mountain drive is an awesome view plus you get cell and data service up there. You will NOT GET PHONE SERVICE anywhere else. Wi fi is available at local shops.

Great spot. We stayed in the West Campground, 50amp electric site. Pull-throughs were great. About half of the sites were paved. Electric only, so it was kind of a bummer and we had to conserve water for out 5 night stay. Restrooms and showers were a little dated but very clean. Campground host and staff were very polite and nice....

A fort that was very remote and built to protect the area during the copper boom. We bought state park pass and enjoyed several other of the Michigan state parks as well. A good job has been done in renovating the fort to its original condition. It was interesting to learn how the soldiers lived during the era of the...

My family has camped here for years and have our favorite spots. If you like a bit quieter campsite, try the West Campground in the sites in the 150's. Families with kids might like the East Campground and its more open play areas better. Good place for bikes and walks. You can hike into Copper Harbor for restaurants and shopping....

While the view across the lake was gorgeous, there were far too many campers and RVs in the campground, in too close proximity with little to no privacy. Great for a short stay, but I would not recommend spending much time here if you're looking for relaxation. Too many shrieking kids, barking dogs, and generators running. The bathrooms, however were...

This was a very beautiful campground. Well kept sites and bathrooms (at least on the west side). The only down fall here was the biting black flies. We stayed for two days and the only way to enjoy the camp fire was to hold a fly swatter. This campground offers wi-fi only by the bathroom, so it tends to be...

We stayed in the East camground, and our site was just across from the overlook onto the water. The site was well maintained, but the things that stood out the most for this campground were the bathrooms, which were virtually spotless, and the camp host! The camp host had coffee available in the mornings, which worked out great for us...
