Beautiful restored lodge with great, creative menu. Overlooking the lake and friendly staff. Very clean room. Easy drive to Nature's Kennel. Enjoyed playing games at the bar. Local microbrew on draft.

We stayed here as part of a package deal for dog sledding. This B&B is wonderful. The food is fantastic, people are friendly and the rooms are clean. There is a lovely fireplace in the common area that is warm and inviting. This really is a great place to stay.

Chamberlin's is a welcoming inn and restaurant close to Nature's Kennel dog sledding in McMillan, Michigan. Rooms are good sized with comfortable mattresses; we had adjoining rooms with a shared bathroom, which was great for mom and 2 teens. The owners were very accommodating, too. We needed to stay on Dec 25, and even though the restaurant was closed for...

The views, rooms, food and people are wonderful. We stayed here better part of week with our 9 year old grandchildren. We all loved every minute of our stay. The children were able to play in the front yard with outdoor games, board games, walks down the stairs and dock and kayaking. The hosts were very accommodating and the staff...

We returned to the Inn for a fall color tour of the UP. The Inn is charming, if a bit worn, and the setting is right on the lake. The restaurant was very good, and the breakfast most enjoyable. The Inn is close to Seney National Wildlife reserve. We would return ( again). If you like staying in an older...

The food, ambiance and view were great! The service - not so good. We were there on a Tuesday at 5:30 without a reservation and got the last table available. Make sure you have a reservation for dining.

Our third time at Chamberlin's and for good reason. This is a very old structure (no elevator) and the rooms, most with private bath, are all different and beautifully decorated. Being lakeside, the view to the west is also beautiful. The restaurant has always been good and the Planked Whitefish is a winner. However, the Filet of Beef I ordered...

Yes, the inn is old...and does have a very interesting history. The B&B experience is not for everyone....we thoroughly enjoyed it! We chatted with locals, staff, and the owners. The view from the porch is beautiful. We had a small room with a bathroom and were very happy with our experience. Breakfast was delicious...we also enjoyed dinner twice and our...

First, the appearance. It is a beautiful old building, and rich in heritage (according to the owner), but is in need of care. Would be so much more impressive if it had some basic upkeep, a paint job, for instance. It is a bit ramshackled. The view from the porch however is unparalleled. Just beautiful! The Inn restaurant has two...
